Good Morning Everyone!!
The scale was good to me!! I have a 5# loss. I was a little worried, last night my brother in law had a fish fry. I had a smoothie for breakfast and a 100 calorie snack/protien bar for lunch, trying to save calories for the fish fry. Although I don't think I went over my total calorie intake, I know I would have eaten less had I ate more during the day. In two short hours I will be heading with my daughter's girlscout troop for an overnight camp out. I am going to pack my own meals so I can stay on track, hopefully the extra activity will offset any s'mores I eat around the campfire. Congrats to everyone on their successes!! |

I have to report my first gain in a LONG time! I'm up #2.4 this week. :( I'm not letting it get me down though. We still have 19 weeks left until Christmas, which means I have to lose #1.3 a week from now on to hit goal. I CAN AND WILL DO THIS!!! I'm dying to get into the #170's - I knw I just have to work towards it!!! |

Don't sweat it love, with all your shredding you're prolly packing on the muscle. Just remember the little people when your bench-pressing small animals! In other news, my boy(friend), the continual saboteur in my good plans with his love for eating out, has decided he wants to lose 40 LB before xmass. Now, does that mean he didn't eat a bucket of hot wings yesterday? No... but I guess deciding is the first step... |

EVERYONE :eek: You're not seeing things! I had my screen name changed. I love the cool shades of blue and find it very serene, so I went with Blue Serenity. I decided I needed a more peaceful, calming name. My other name was "inspired" by negative feelings I was using to fuel my weight-loss efforts. I'm done with that now. I'm ready to move on!!! Blue - i like the name change. I think you should be serene :) Being inspired to lose weight is a good thing, as long as it's good things motivating you! :)
My name is simple - Eny is the nick name I've had since forever, and I'm a girl... not too much thought into it, but I do connect more with the name Eny then I do with my real name, Erin. It defines me... it's unique, and I like it! :D Asynch - I feel you - my BF has said that he wants to lose about 50-60 and yet he's constantly eating junk food... what's a girl to do??? :) |

I had my weigh in this morning. The scale was good to me. I weight 182.2 This week was VERY rough to get through. I will take it and keep working towards 170 and my beautiful black dress. I thank you all for your support. Catch ya all later. Pat |
Pat you are TOTALLY ROCKING! KEEP IT UP!!! I wish that I could say I'm going to join you in the #170's when you hit them - but unless the scale gods are REALLY smiling upon me - I doubt I'm going to lose the #8.6 by the end of August! the 30 day shred would REALLY have to make a HUGE difference in the next 3 weeks! (wouldn't it be AWESOME though???) My eating's still on pretty much - but I do need to up the fruits and veggies some more. And start eating at home!!! I've become a slave to take-out recently, and I'm SURE that it's NOT helping ANYTHING!!!
Staying on track... making sure to journal everything.. working out - it WILL pay off! |
Eny~I am so sore from head to toe nails. I have been awaken 2 nights in a row with aches and pains. Pain relievers have my main stay. I will keep going. The shred dvd seems like the best thing for you. I checked it out, I don't think I could do it, too fast paced for me. I have found several cardio tapes I can do. I have a Latin dance dvd I want to try when no one is looking. I need to mix it up a little more to keep my muscles guessing. As for the Scale Goddess being good to you--Water weight/retention passes. You can drop 2-4 pounds of water in a week especially if it is that time of month. It is possible to still hit 170 by 9-1. You are well on your way by eating OP and exercise. A small tweek here and there can make a big difference. What ever the next few weeks brings us we will get through it!! I am with you I need to eat more fruits and veggies. I like soup and veggie juice, that helps me get them in each day. But I don't get 6-8 servings of fruits and veggies. I'm so excited... today wasn't my official WI day, but I was down 1.5 lbs. Last week I was up .5 lbs. Hopefully I can hold on to this weight loss. That would set a new all time low weight for me. Maybe I can meet my Christmas goal :cool:
I bought some new jeans in a smaller size so today has just been fantastic. My youngest daughter did fantastic at the fair this year. She is very shy, but got up in front of the judge, looked him in the eye, and told him everything she knew about guinea pigs. She was so proud of herself and so am I.:D |

Eny- I have no idea what to do about our boys. Mine has even said that once he loses a lot of weight (he's about 5'11" and weighs 330) he wants to start training for a triathlon, but that he can't start now cause he's too out of shape. I'm just hoping that I can set a good example, and I know by eating at home more (he lives w me) and eating my cooking he'll lose some.

Morning all. I got an A- on my presentation so my overall grade is an A or A-, bout a 91 as close as I can figure! Now I have a break for a couple weeks!
I overslept this morning, must be the getting rid of the stress, I just could not get moving, so now have to make it snappy. I need to focus on me. Cheat free days are my goal. I plan to hit 146 by the end of this month, then at least 5# a month. Who's with me??? September 141 October 136 November 131 Christmas 126 Just went and did my crunches 75 & 75 and 10 push ups! |

Asynch - i COMPLETELY understand. The other problem is I DON'T COOK! he's the cook in the house! And since we've been n completely different schedules he eats at work, and DD and I have become local restaurant favorites! I think there are 6 places that know us by name with in 5 miles of my house! :eek: I am EXTREMELY happy to report the water weight from yesterday is GONE! and this morning I'm at #186.4! :D :yay: :cheer: Definately puts me back on target for Christmas! :santa: |
I am down a pound today so I weigh in at 221. I guess 1 pound is better then nothing. :) I am going to try to exercise more today and maybe more weight will come off.

Eny- I'm basically just following a low calorie plan by being careful about what I cook, and so far that's been working fairly well. May need to get a little stricter on it soon, but I find that even if I'm eating something a little higher in calories, I feel better about it if it's homemade. As if homemade calories don't count ;-p Also, I can't afford to eat out to much right now, I have to spend all my money on the new wardrobe I'll need! =D |
