I just blew past the 50 pounds lost total mark to being down -51.4 overall, yippee! I've been waiting to cross that -50lb lost milestone, and it is nice for it to come after the BBQ we threw at my house yesterday since I didn't snack or eat anything out of the ordinary at all. I love rewards like this!

This seems to be a slow challenge...LOL! Guess we all either have TOM or a small plateau! But the last two challenges seemed pretty quick!! Lots of whooshes...I bet that accounts for some of the plateaus! Don't fret ladies....keep your heads up....some of you may be losing some inches instead of lbs for now! Thats good too....that means smaller clothes!!!

TOM finally kicked in with full force...I'm still losing weight?? I bet its cause I really am just getting stated with this diet...you know how at the beginning of a diet you lose a bunch of weight....I bet thats why!!! I have to remember this cause next months TOM will probably not go this way...I bet its normal and a gain with a whoosh next month!! Oh well.....remember the whoosh!!

Well I had something cool just happen - I went clothes shopping (UGH) with a friend of mine who's expecting, and seeing as I am starting to teach a summer school class to high school girls tomorrow, I figured it might be a good idea for me to buy myself something as well. So I went into a store that I had bought something last time I went shopping (i.e. - they do in fact carry big sizes), and last time I bought a shirt there it was a size 4 <not a normal size 4 - a big fat ladies 4>, and the one I got today was a size 3! ( don't try figuring out the sizes - the point is I'm down a size) also - last time I was there I tried on an oxford that was a size and too tight, and this time I bought it and can tuck it in too!! Yippee!! PS - I look at my weight on the scale and I don't really weigh a lot by most people''s standards, but I guess my bones don't weigh anything at all cause I'm a good size 16...
Way to go Jo!! Can't wait till I'm right there with you!!
I'm back up a lb today......I hate these stupid fluctuations....I am so ready for TOM to go away and get a nice post TOM whoosh! I soooo hope I get a whoosh! I have been working my booty off every single day cardio, walking, swimming, and strength training...all week long...and watching calories!!!
I hope to see a nice reward!
