  • Ah the whoosh has begun. 169.2 this morning. That's down 2.2 lbs from yesterday. By tomorrow I should be down another 1.5 or so and that will be a more accurate *real* weight.

    Start: 168.4
    Now: 169.2 (+.8)
    Goal: 163.4

  • Ugh, TOM sucks. I feel your pain, PhotoChick.

    The scale was down to 163.4 this morning! That's 1.4 down for this challenge, and only 0.4 pounds away from my very first mini-goal!

    Okay I'm laughing a little bit with you but just because I like the fact you fessed up to it!! But lets keep this in perspective - it's .5lbs. You could've just had a high salt day, eaten later, been stressed, not gotten enough sleep etc. Not a big deal at all!!
  • Heather, the sole pleasure of avoiding those wheaty carbs was in scale redemption!! But, yes, darnit, I was on plan, and it was a salty day, and I have been so noshy, bingey, feeling like I want chocolate (real, not the sugar free stuff) and crutons in my salad and chips with my salsa, and all that yummy stuff that to actually be on plan itself was a $%$^ feat in itself!!

    Oh well, I'm stickin' with the program.... really, I am seeing better results... usually...

    But I'll tell you this... I had sliced apple and 2 tbspoons peanut butter for lunch and it really hit the spot!! Don't know what the scale will show, but I am in it to win it!!

    im down a pound today... but im not sure if trust my scale entirely so im going to buy a new one today... any excuse eh?
  • GRRR stupid scale. 225.4 this morning. Still down but today's my official weigh-in day - why couldn't it have been yesterday??!!
  • My scale is so pretty and mod looking. It's glass and chrome. Made by tanita I think.

    So, I'm back to 147 today. Total since challenge start, down 1.5, 3.5 to go.

    What's it been, like six weeks already??

    well i got my new scale, its by homedics... its a very clever thing it sends an electrical impulse through your body to measure

    body fat
    body water
    muscle mass
    bmi
    bmr


    and guess what, even after breakfast it says i am 204!!!

    Heather -- that seems COMPLETELY unfair of the scale to do to you on your official weigh in day. Let's take the damn thing out back and knock some sense into it!

    No change for me this morning, still sitting at 182. Of course I just had to peek at the scale after my run and it told me 178! Ooooohhh baby, I almost had a big O. Wait, can I say that here? Ummm.... okay I almost fainted. That's more G-rated.

  • Well, the scale said 162.4 this morning, which is down a pound from yesterday, but I gave blood yesterday, so I don't know how much effect that is having. Oh well, I'll take it until the scale gives me reason to think otherwise.

  • I was back to 150 this morning,, a lot of stress those days, which means I eat more... I will have my examen for my driving license tomorrow,, and I just learned that less than 50% make it.. so instead of doing my workout tonight I will sit down and try to learn everything I can those last hours..
