I've been doing well at getting in my 80 oz. of water a day. I have to start somewhere so it won't be so daunting. Keep up the good work ladies...

I finally got my Ipod (generic)! It's pretty cool, except for the irritating fact that's it's PINK! It was supposed to be RED. So now my earbuds and ipod don't match. I'll live.
Shari - I'm making my way to getting an iPod as well.... I keep going back and forth. Oh well...one of these days.
I weighed in and am down another 1.5 lbs... I've been consistent with working out since I returned from my trip. Now I just need to focus with adding more time!
I gave into temptation big time! Ate pizza and pasta, smoked and drank! Oh well it was a good night. It seems that the town has hit a party week so I am pretty sure this week will be a disaster. Tonight is a good friends birthday party, tomorrow night another birthday party, Saturday a pub crawl on horse back followed by the Town fiestas (the have bull riding, and they build night clubs, and have horse parades) Sunday should be back to normal although a friend is staying with us and Sunday is his last night so I imagine he will want to go out.
Tomorrow I need to run 20 mins straight I did my session yesterday and I had to run 8 mins straight and then walk for 5 and run 8 mins again. It was surprisingly easy. I seem to say that after every session. I am breaking in my new running shoes so that I can use them for the 20 min run tomorrow. Wish me luck!!
Yes, we had a great time! We kayaked for about 3 hours. We saw lots of dolphins (in really shallow water, I could have reached out and touched them!), several manatees, a boatload of herons and cranes and fishing hawks, it was great. It was pretty mild (low 80s) with a nice breeze so it was beautiful being on the water. It was fabulous!
Weighing in, the weekends activites have not made the scales and me friends. Sigh. Back up to 224 this morning. Too much red wine, and naughty snacks here and there. Boo hiss. I HATE having to move my ticker UP. Hate it hate it!!
Anyway enough of the ranting, I put it in my mouth, my problem. I got all my hair chopped off on Friday, my hair was past my shoulders, I am now sporting a bob that is longer at the front and shorter at the very back, and I love it!! I feel very grown up and sophisicated!! Its also a LOT quicker to do in the mornings now!! So this week I will be really moving my butt and working hard to get on the losing streak. I will never ever go above 224lbs again, ever, I am just really struggling getting below 210, i keep getting close and then gaining the weight again. Bah!!
Morning all, I had a good weigh-in this morning (-2.4 for this week) and have now lost 13 pounds for the last 4 week period! Yippee! I can't wait to get through the next month because I think then I'll actually see some changes. Right now I just feel more flabby and less solidly fat, which really doesn't seem like all that much improvement!
PP: I'm sorry you had a rough week, hang in there, you'll move that ticker back down again! Your new hair cut sounds really fabulous!
Jasonslea - forgot to say earlier, fab news about your apartment - I think me and you have discussed mr butler before, but yes i have to admit the scottish accent did help!! Lucky me!! hehe!! Isnt he in that sad movie p.s i love you!? I havent seen it yet, but i thought he was in it...
I have just downloaded the couch to 5k running program, and Im going to start it tonight, obviously on the treadmill - i dont think the general public are ready for my wobbly bits to be pounding the steets. I need some structure and some kind of program to be working towards, just going to the gym and plugging away isnt working for me anymore!!
