Ugh girls i'm havin a crisis!!!!!!!!! i just want to give up and eat everything....i work my butt off every day and when i get home i'm always famished and eat everything possible....I need a bit of motivation to keep me going....sometimes I don't even know why I try!

holyteror....what are you eating during the day?? are you eating snacks every 2-3 hours?? i find that when i don't have planned snacks, i have the same problem. yesterday, i thought i was full from lunch so i didn't eat my yogurt at 4pm. By the time i stopped off at the dollar store on the way home...i was starving. I bought one of those small cans of pringles and ate the whole thing!!!! at least i didn't eat much with my dinner to make up for it but still....i find if i don't have planned snacks between meals, i am more tempted to overeat at dinner. you have to eat enough during the daytime so as to not overdo it at nighttime. I hope that helps a little.

Holyteror, I had the same problem, I would be starving between 4 and 5:30 I eat every 2-3 hours to try and keep the hunger away. Also If I do get hungry I try to make sure I have healthy snacks within reach!

Its official ladies!!! I got on my scale and 2.5 pounds off!! that hasn't happened in so long I forgot how to change my ticker but i figured it out. I hope I breeze through the 150's!!!!!!!

Manned the Contract Ratification Polls for the last 24 hours and did indeed eat EVERYTHING. Nothing OP . . . No Water . . . you get the idea.

Great advice to holyT about the healthy snacking/2-3 hours apart lumi & clykkie! I've had the same prob for years and try to do the snacking thing too to solve, but since WEED a little trick I now do is to also say to self: "Self, you can have *whatever it is* after you drink this big glass of WATER!" 99.9% of the time, I don't want whatever it was after having a glassful. Hang in there holyT!

awwwwww, jcat your loss is just the best news! You've been soo patient for so long and doing the right things!!! (Reminded me of rowdyB, ya know?) Anyhoo . . . BIG - and ROCK ON!

Bogarting me some WEED to get back in focus:

Edited to Add: As I was desperately trying to think of a "bright side" to eating my way thru 24 hrs of Poll Watch - I just realized that historically not only would I have ATE my way thru the creeping hours . . . I also would have consumed 2.3 million BEERS in the same time frame!! Sooooo . . . *deep breath* . . . happy to report that altho' I DID eat every known to mankind junk food . . . no Malted Yeasted Barley/Hops liquid passed my lips! *Thanking the Alcohol Gods for small wonders*

Well, I'm having a rough start to my day--more because I slept in too late than anything else. I have a lot to do before my boyfriend gets here and I haven't started yet!

Well girls,
Sometimes i eat a snack in the afternoon, sometimes I don't. If I do eat a snack in the afternoon it's usually a 100 cal bag of popcorn. That's right about the time I'm getting ready to shut down for the day and go home from work. The snack bars don't always keep me satiated til I get home.....what's weird is that I will eat in the morning, be ok for 3 hrs, eat a snack, get the munchies right before i workout (about half an hour before I eat) and then later on I'm famished.

I would really like some low calorie easy snacks for the afternoon, maybe something that will fill me up a little more and that will keep me full if I come home and work out with the dog or c25k.

I'm getting really tired of eating salads again, but since the weather's starting to become crisp again, I think I will start making some soups, etc in the crockpot and disperse into individual bowls and freeze. I wanted to make minestrone tonight so i'd have some for tomorrow's lunch.

I need to get to the actual grocery store. I hate having to do it, even if I have eaten i have to remind myself "No you don't need that!!"

I like the water idea.....if i finish this big bottle i can have this......I'm going to start using that too. I should make myself a small list of motivational sayings to keep with me at work. I'd planned on it for my last craft fair but it didn't happen.

Still haven't eaten as on plan as i would like but I did get in plenty of water yesterday. if i could only get that much in today LOL

But I will try my best to implement these things into my daily program...

oh lordy i just said that didn't I? I just finished writing a paper for class LOL
