hi ladiesssss,
I have been soooooo busy, I ended up putting in many hrs. again wed. and have been working into evening hrs. except for thursday. I managed to get in a few walks too. I'm in pretty good shape though, the house is looking nice and all the fall cleaning is done. Today I am doing some food prep for the party tomorrow and then some last minute cleaning (touching up) downstairs and that should be it. I was too tired to go out last night but who knows, maybe if I get things done early enough and am up to it, we can go out to dinner tonight. Eating has been very good all week and I have been extremely active.
I am a little upset that tom showed up this morning, several days early which is unusual.......I just pray I am okay tomorrow!
Shari, sounds like maybe u pulled a muscle in your back? I would wait until it's all better before exercising or you could aggravate it. I hope your feeling better hun. NIce to hear all of your new ladies. I hope you all have a super weekend.

Shari, I can relate to the back thing. I woke up this morning with a sore spot under my shoulder blade from who knows what. I spent some time on the floor this morning stretching out and it feels better now, but these things have a way of sneaking back! Sometimes a bath and ibuprophen can help. Hang in there!
Dea, sounds like you're doing great. Whether you lose all 9 pounds this month or not, you're going in the right direction. Keep up the good work!
Lekhika, congrats on maintaining. You've lost so much already, I hope you're enjoying it and getting nice comments.
FSA, what party are you planning? I hope you're better at resisting hors d'oeuvres than I am.

We finally bought a new bed...a good one, after 13 years on a really low quality mattress, and the difference in how my back felt was almost immediate. Now we are working on getting better mattresses for our 4 kids...a bit of a $$$$ investment!!
Eating wasn't great today. I had something that has given me really bad heartburn tonight, so I probably won't be eating much tomorrow. I also need to squeeze in some extra exercise time tomorrow....the last kick at dropping a couple of lbs before Monday's Biggest Loser weigh-in!!
I don't know what the weather where you all are has been like this past week, but it has been like summer here....yiippeee!! Gotta love the sunshine!!
Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!
Have a great tomorrow everyone.

OMG I have had a terrible month. 8 days left and I have accomplished little more than eating way too much on a regular basis. FINALLY back on plan today. I will weigh myself in the morning to see how much damage I have done and if there is any hope for losing a couple of pounds so the month is not a total waste.
Went grocery shopping today and bought TONS of good stuff...Thankfully resisted the bacon LOL. I cooked two different kinds of soup to freeze so I have quick meals all week! I am back and ready to kick more fat butt.

Yaay Sock! I was wondering about you Mary and where you'd gone! I'm glad you're back and better than ever!
FSA, I totally suck at resisting appetizers. Bacon and appetizers would be my fatal flaw were I a Greek Hero!
Dea, thanks for the good words. THe compliments have sort of trickled down as most people saw the dramatic weight loss and then well...the weight has been slow to come off....still...it's nice to wear little clotehs again.
Ok ladies. I have a full days worth of cleaning ahead of me. I have been squeezing in some crunches and yoga on the sly so am pretty happy about that and will try to do the same today!
Hope all of you have lovely days.

Happy fall everybody! I'm down 1 pound this morning. I thought I was going to show at least 2 pounds lost, but I had some wine last night and I think that was unwise. Oh well, at least it wasn't bacon!
Sundays are often tricky for me because we have family over and there's a lot of junk around. I will try to steer around the bad stuff in my Team September shirt. Go Team!

So the scale says 186.2. I am OK with that. If I work hard maybe I can get to 183 by the end of the month. This totally throws off my mini goals LOL.
Thanks Lekhika! I am still thinking about starting yoga. OH BTW...Could you give me the link to that yoga site again? I had it saved to favorites on my old computer but it died , so I need to save it to this computer
seasoning Sundays are bad for me too because of football..It always makes me want to order pizza hehe because that used to be our Sunday tradition...eat pizza all day and watch football.

Hey Mary...we have missed you! Glad you are back. 186 lbs is a great place to be. I remember when we were both in the 190's...and we are never going back there again!!!
My MIL made a big crock pot of chili this morning...the whole house smells spicey!! It's loaded with beans and veggies..we will be having some for dinner tonight...and probably for the next couple of nights!! Eating has been okay for the weekend, which is good because I want to be on track for the next week. We are going on vacation next week, and I know that I will be slightly off-track that week.
I can't believe this is the first day of fall...the summer flew by this year!
Here's to a great last week of September everyone!!

Ooooh a ball! I have been looking at pretty party dresses on clearance at Nordstroms just wishing I had an occasion to wear an "occasion" dress...

A special occasion sounds so nice. I can't remember the last time I had to wear a 'fancy' dress. Have lots of fun!!
I'm down 2 lbs this week. That takes me to 40 lbs so far!! Kind of like a milestone I guess. My original goal was 60 lbs before New Years...I will really need to work hard between now and then to reach that...but nothing is impossible!

 everyone!
Back is feeling better but now my car is acting up. BFF had a near death experience in it last night and I can definitely tell it's close to breaking down completey. So I've decided to go ahead and put it in the shop before it breaks down completely on the side of the road. I don't have ANY money to get it fixed but I see no other way. It'll just have to stay there until I can get the money somehow. *sigh*
