August excercise challange
I hope nobody minds that I started this thread.

Okay so I set my goal for 1500 but I am highly expecting to change that ro 2000 again. Last month I hit 2090 minutes!

I was trying Ct5K for a couple of weeks and my knees told me something wasn't quite right. Now I'm doing stroller walks and Jari Love DVDs for weights. Planning on working pilates in to help with the abs, my least favorite, soon. Aug 1: Get Ripped to the Core DVD + 35 minutes walking (650 cal) Aug 2: 45min walk + intro pilates DVD (450 cal) |
Mainly intervals on the elliptical..sometimes walking..sometimes tennis, sometimes the row machine..But yeah, usually the elliptical because I love it!

Ladiessssssss, hi there! I wasn't around for a while....I was with dh on the bay and the other day I said to him, jeesh I never started the thread before leaving and hope the girls started up. Sorry to leave you guys hanging. Everyone is doing so great and we must keep it running. Dea, glad you started it :) Jas, not stepping on any toes though I know how you feel as I felt the same way before but the main thing is we keep it running so if for some reason we dont see it started up, any of us jump in and go for it. ANyhow, it's good to see you all, keep kicking butt girls! :carrot:

Full steam nice to see you again and hear you had fun. Write that stuff down! Sock: sounds good. I love my morning walks. So friday was unexpectedly a day of rest. Yesterday i woke up late and it was warm, but I did walk 60 last nite so i am good. This morning I am back on with the 90, this normally would of been my day off but since no walk on friday, no rest on sunday. lol I forgot to do my arm weights last nite cause I normally come back from my walk and head strt here. Oh well. Hi ladies :) I finally got my tail back in here. MIss you guys and I was not gone just took a little detour during vaca, lol : ). I really had to talk to myself quite a bit to get my tail back in here and make a commitment, I promised myself that after vaca and cutting myself a bit of slack I would in and post an ex. goal! It does stress me sometimes (and I didn't want to do it during vaca for various reasons) but it is such a good stressor and so totally good for me ladies! It helps keep me in line and this type of pressure is awesome for me! I have worked very hard thus far and despite any slack I cut myself these past few weeks I knew and know that it was and is very important I get right back to it and post and hold myself accountable. So here I am! lol . You guys are rocking, kee p up the awesome work!

It's been a fun filled vaca but time to get serious again and right back to plan so what I am going to do is post the dates and exercise I have done thus far while on vaca and then make or set a goal of 700 minutes for the remainder of the month! ay ay ay, lol :) glad your all here for support and inspiration, let's keep it rocking! :) aug.1 - 70 minutes (walk-beach, swim-20min.) aug.2- 40 minutes (walk-20min.b, swim-15min.) aug.3- 30 minutes (walk) aug.7- 60 minutes (walk) aug.8- 20 minutes (walk) aug.10-beginning new pledge and ex. minutes...finally! 700 minutes from here until end of month. I hera ya dea, yesterday was freshman orientation and of course they lost her paperwork and........after all the running around I did in 100 heat I crashed last nite at 7:00!!! for 2.5 hours! Her campus is humongous and there are like 10 offices and up stairs......I did not have a chance to go for a regular walk but between that and the park I am marking down 30. lol
