I have never really counted calories....seems like alot of work, and I know that I would probably loose interest fast. I am familiar with the Weight Watchers points program, although I am not a member, so I kind of keep track that way. What I am mostly trying to do is increase the fruits/veggies, minimize the breads/pastas/junk, and stay active. I would most likely loose the weight faster if I knew more about the "science" of what I eat/should eat, but like I said, if I make it too complicated, I would not stick to it.

Our weekend away was fun..I took my daughter to a casting call for a TV show... a very long day, lots of fun, but no call-back, then the rest of the weekend we just hung out with my mom and did some "kid" things. I only got one work-out in, and ate a little to much, but I didn't go over board. Then, I started back to work yesterday...so no more morning walks for me. I am going to either do it in the afternoon, or early evening from now on. Jasmine...way to go...a few more days until the end of the month, and then we get to start all over again!! |

Hey sweetie! I missed ya! Good to have ya back! That is great you got to spend time with your mom and kid! My mom passed on 2 years ago. Where are you working at? It is hard juggling work/healthy eating and exercise!
Yeah my cals this week have been awful! 2100 range! ugghhhhh. On the 23rd I found out my ex dh passed on. :( Lots of mixed feelings there. So i know that is why I have been eating more. Friday is the service. We have 5 kids together. R.I.P. I have still been walking and am even over my goal. Walking is never a chore or hard for me(most the time!) but it is always the eating I struggle with. With all the walking I still burn more than i ate but am probably on track for 1 lb this week instead of 2. I am not going to stress though. Friday is the service and sat. my aunts and grandma are making their annual trip up here and are going out to dinner so I am just going to enjoy it and buckle down hard on sunday. Well see how today and tomorrow go. I got a lot of cleaning to do today and tomorrow so i think i will take a rest day today and get more stuff done. |
