My weight was up a little bit this morning...thanks TOM!!!!!
I am staying away from the scale until Tuesday (my new weekly weigh-in day), so that I don't drive myself crazy!!

I am in! I am setting my goal for 10 pounds. I have not been doing well lately (and by that I mean that I have been eating like a pig and exercise has become a thing of the past) so I know that I am due for a "big week" in the beginning. The rest of the 10 pounds will be solid fat, though. I am really excited about this!

Yesterday was just ok eating wise and I didn't get to work out at all because of TTOM. It has been really bad lately and if I exercise, it just gets worse. Hopefully I'll be able to get a workout in tonight.

Funny so many of us with the same complaint right now TOM. I am really happy though for the first time in I don't know how long I did not gain 5 pounds with TOM. I have stopped losing at all even with quite a few low day just before but I didn't gain and I feel encouraged because of it. Usually after TOM is over I lose a lot of weight fast for a couple week (usually as in that is how the last 2 months have been lol) so it will be interesting to see how it goes this time. I make the most progress on my bar (which I don't move when I gain from TOM) right after so here is hoping!

For everyone else keep up the good work and I know your pain, there have been time I gained 10 pounds over 2 days with TOM, just remember its hormone weight and don't let it trick you into bad eating. Have a great upcoming weekend everyone.

Haven't been on this in a couple of years, but I'd like to join in--I was doing this on my own starting this month but I saw this the rest is history. I'm at my biggest [deep breath] 275--my goal is 10 for this month. I started taking martial arts classes 2 weeks ago and I sweat and we're doing lots of cardio...4x a week for 2 hrs. I'm sore but having a blast. This, with some better eating habits should get me to shed 10--I HOPE!

I made just under half my goal for July. No one's fault but my own. 2 lbs. instead of 5. So I'm shooting for the other 3 this month. If I go over it, good, if I don't, more for next month.

I'm going to join you wonderful folks for this challenge. I want to lose 30 pounds by the end of the year, so that makes 6 pounds in August and every month after 'till the new year. I've let myself get sadly out of shape these last months, but now I'm ready to rock! :carrot::carrot::carrot:

I'd like to join the challenge as well. My goal is 8 lbs for the month. If I can stick with 2 pounds per week I'm hoping to get into a size 10 for my reunion at the end of October ;)

Welllll I finally dropped my pre-TOM waterweight, had a .8 loss down to 195.0 this morning. It was a good feeling LOL. Now I can't wait to see 194!

I ate too much today!!!! I felt crummy all day, and comforted myself with food. Too much bread, cheese and just to much munching!! I finally went and had a nap....just to keep myself out of the kitchen!!
Tomorrow will be better!!

Well, thought i'd touch base with everyone before I head off to the island tomorrow. I have to work at 630 tomorrow morning, so theres a slim chance i'll check in before I leave. I'll be back late monday night though. I'm scared of the dinners that await me, but i have already prepared healthy breakfasts and lunches. That in conjunction with some basketball playing, morning jogs and swimming in the lake. I'm hoping I should be okay. I'm prepared to except the consequences of bbqs and pasta that my father might make. I'll do the small portions thing though. I hope everyone has an excellent weekend, and an fabulous long weekend for those of you who live up here in bc, canada. Can't wait to hear how everyone does this weekend!

My goal for this month is 9 lbs. I started July at 216 and ended it at 202, so I met my goal of 10 lbs. last month. I am so excited because I will drop out of the 200's this month, so that should keep me on track. Wishing everyone a successful month. To those of you who carry this thread, thank you. I have read it for the last 2 months on an almost daily basis and your persistence and encouragement mean a lot to even those who do not post often like myself. You gals are great!

I finally dropped another pound! It's taken a week... And it's not like I've been hitting the oreos! I hate this hot weather. I retain water like crazy!
