Hi everyone:

I posted before I went to bed last night because i was up really late for some reason!

Brigid: what is EVOO--oh never mind--it is extra virgin olive oil, right? How long does the brocolli last in the fridge? Great job juggling the fitday--that makes so much sense to adapt to your needs as you go. Good luck with the fudge--:dust:

Great job Strawberry--how is your baby?

I dont have to exercise today but will end up doing a bunch of gardening--digging and planting so it will definitely count as an exercise day!

My minigoal for June is to stay within my WW pts EVERYDAY (no banking) and to walk my 10000 at least 5x/wk. I have trouble with 7 days as I work nights and spend my 2 days off in bed!
Another obsticle this first week is birthdays. My husband June 1, Daughter June 4, and son June 8. I am baking cakes as we speak, with my husbands cake leftover sitting beside me!!! OH NO!

Sounds like you've all had a good weekend. I'm doing well on this mini challenge just been very busy this weekend. So I'm 3/3 and going strong.

hi well today was soooooooo hectic i did some serious rearrangement of every thing in my kitchen n did a through cleaning but i gobled a couple tablespoons of rice n felt guilty afterwards so i took a handful of chickpeas as snack n that kept me in the safe calorie range so i can proudly say it im 3/3 lets see what the scale says tomorrow hope to hear from u all tomorrow
snow: baby is fine n she has recently mastered her crawling n makes me go crazy

Good morning ladies! I haven't checked in for a few days so I missed the beginning of the mini-challenge. Looks like everyone is on track so far, great job everybody!

Weigh-in today: 5 pounds down. Woo-hoo! So that's 5 pounds down total for the Labor Day challenge.

I'll write more later, I've got to take the dogs for a walk... yay for exercise!

Morning Ladies,

Well I finally got the scale to move. I weighed in at 152 this morning so that 2 pounds down and 17 to go. I find the weight is coming off really slow now probably because I'm getting closer to my goal and getting a little complacent so this mini challenge is a great motivator.

good morning gals so i weighed myself today n im down 1.5 pounds that makes a total loss of 9 lbs and i have 26 more to drop

monday weigh in--13 weeks to go!
 
Wow--time flies--here we are in our fourth week--and 13 weeks to go! Lots of time to make our goals. I am glad people are liking the mini-challenge--nice to have a little short term tune-up of our approach to our weight loss.

so far I am 3/3--I think we all are--way to go team!! Its okay to jump in now if you didnt get in at the beginning of the mini-challenge--basically we set our goals for how we want to be 100% on plan for June. And we are listing how we do each day to keep us on our toes.

I am excited and surprised--I lost 5 lbs last week. I was in a steady thing of 2lbs a week and suddenly I had a woosh. I didnt realy do anything different. I am so happy! :carrot: :carrot:

Catmint: way to come back on the wagon--nice job!! If you want to join us for the mini challenge, please do! I bet you must have been 100% anyway to lose 5lbs. Keep it up.

Strawberry: I envy you with getting your kitchen together--I did about half the kitchen a few weeks ago but the other half is calling me. Crawling babies are for sure more work--but maybe you will burn some calories chasing her! Great job on the 1.5 lbs!

Nina: 2 lbs is great when you only have 17 to go--you are in the hardest part of the weight loss game--well the last 10lbs are actually the hardest. Good job!

Wow Snowbrocade!! Even 2lbs a week is awesome, golly a 5 lb woosh to boot! You are rockin'! I'm plugging along and am sidetracked today, the kids and I have come down with horrendous colds. Still, I'll likely do my weights and situps and pushups anyway and perhaps do something low key, like a yoga dvd or something.

13 weeks left!!! Woo!

Well I can officially say that I am 3/3 on the June Challenge. I had a great weekend and stayed away from all fried foods. I did have Mexican food Sunday for lunch, but it was planned and I split a plate with my Mom. Also I had a healthy breakfast and a superhealthy salad for dinner. Today has also been great so far and I already have dinner in the frig. waiting to go in the oven. It's spinach manicotti w/ lowfat ricotta and cream cheese. Lot of calcium and folic acid.

So I have also started water aerobics in the evening three nights a week. It's really an odd combination of people but is is so much fun. It originally started as a group of women senior citizens (they are all over the age of 70) and then us three pregnant ladies. It's such a blast and hard to keep up with these ladies sometimes. I am learning that I am going to have it much easier having a baby than these ladies did.
