Hey Strawberry I nursed all three of my children and loved it. The first for 9 months the second for 14 months and the third for over 2 years because of health concerns. It was such a bonding experience once you got past the fumbling of learning how to do it properly. It can really help bring off the weight as long as you eat properly and drink lots of fluids. I learned to like drinking water by nursing.
Sno your really burnin it up. Keep it up. I'm feeling a little guilty because I ate a little baking tonight but I'm going to the early tomorrow morning to burn it off. No ifs I'm getting out of bed at 5 am and doing it this time!!! Good nite, Nina |

Hi everyone--
well we are five days into the challenge--how is everyone doing with their goals? I have hit all my goals this week--exercise everyday, 100% on plan with diet, drinking water and posting here. Feeling very motivated! My friend took me for a massage yesterday--it was a nice reward. Aimin: love your recipe--will definitely keep that on hand strawberry--your baby sounds so cute--wonderful that you have that close bond with her Nina: good luck with the exercise today! |

Gah! My internet has been messing up all week. I've been here several times trying to post, and each time I go to submit, that's when the cable decides to go down :dizzy:
I haven't been doing that great this week. Water has been a struggle. I need to pop the bottles in the fridge, that will help tremendously! I only got to the gym once this week- hopefully I can get there today and tomorrow to sqeeze out my 3 days LOL I've been doing ok with eating, but have been making lots of changes at last minute...and lots of cravings and urges to just snack. Which usually means TOM is coming, but I'm not due for another 2 weeks for that, so not sure what's up. I'm really looking forward to next weekend, my family is going to the Strawberry Festival! I'm hoping the couple that went with us to Vegas is going to come too, and a few other friends. Should be a great time! Hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day tomorrow! :hug: |

slept in today--tired! Had a weird fight with the hubby yesterday and it still isnt resolved. I hate that stuff! Plan is going okay--will walk soon. Bridget: hand in there--you have been under a lot of stress so just staying on plan is good. The exericse will help when you can make it! Have fun at the strawberry fest! |

I would love to join if it is not too late. It sounds like there is a bunch of really great girls and you all seem to motivate each other!
A little about me, I had been really thin and active most of my life until about 19/20 then I kinda forgot to exercise and was not as active, working in a call center doesn't help. But around 23ish is when I finally decided that I needed to diet, I have tried a few different ones, Atkins, a fast (lemon, cayenne pepper and maple syrup), weight watchers, etc. I was able to lose weight but couldn't keep it off, so I am now here at some of the highest weight that I have ever been at and want it off!! and for good!! I don't want to do any extreme dieting just eat healthier and be more active. I am 171.6 pounds right now (i am bloated, its my time of the month), my goal is to lose 32 pounds over the next 16 weeks! I can't wait to see myself when that happens. :D Goals: Lose 32 pounds (2 pounds a week)! Check in every day! Exercise at least 30 minutes every day! Make healthier food decisions! Once again I hope it is not too late too join but let me know! Thanks, Debbie |

Ugh, today has been terrible. My dad is not feeling well, so he's been staying upstairs, and I feel bad that he doesn't have free reign over his own house. the kids are bickering, my hubby is annoyed at his mom, but she's out of town so he can't talk it out to her, so he's acting annoyed at me. My friend is taking a new medicine that is making him forgetful and confused and he is having a very rough time dealing with that. And his wife isn't helping. And she got upset with him last night for talking to an old (female) friend from high school on the phone.
It seems like everyone around me is either sick or irritable. Which is making me irritable. Which is why I ordered pizza tonight and ate 2 slices. Which I already regret. I seriously feel like I'm PMSing here, but it's not the right time. Ok, right now I'm taking control. I'm going to read to the girls and try to get them to bed a little early. Then I'm going to have a cuppa tea and go to bed. Tomorrow is sure to be a better day. ;) |

well finally worked out things with hubby--that felt good. I slept in this morning and he kissed me goodbye before taking the dog to agility school. Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow-all is on track. Sunday is my rest day from exercise. So today I get to relax! Bridget: Hang in there--two pieces of pizza is not so bad--good thing you stopped there and went to bed! All that chaos must be hard. Hope you find a way to get out and get some peace for yourself every once in a while! |
I would love to join all you in this challenge. I am recently divorced at 35 years old and need this badly in my life. I am looking to start over in life and leaving the past behind me. Here are my goals.
