HI everyone : ) I have decided on 1400 minutes for this month. THe weather is good now (except for this week!) so I plan on doing more walking outdoors for this month. MY exercise will consist of mostly walking, as well as aerobics, all over body toning (inc. some stretching), and upper bod strength training. I'm shooting for a weekly average of walking (200min), aerobics + toning (120 min.) and u.b.s.t (30 min).

nice to see you all , let's keep truckin ladies. THis is my 3rd month! I am so excited. I went to the park for the first time this year yesterday (some of the trails are rigorous) and I could see a vast improvement in my fitness level versus last spring! :) no huffing and puffing this time, no sore muscles, n othing! I am very thankful for this thread.

4/1 - 60 min. walk/hike (b.p park)
4/2 - 15 min. u.b.s.t

I have kissed my heels goodbye for quite some time now, afraid that any ankle irritation will impede my exercise goals. Tomorrow is a new day. Keep on truckin.

Full steam ahead. Thanks for the information. A friend came by and helped with the inserts. We can all meet our goals this months ladies. Lets not quit and when we feel like we don't want to excercise that is when we really need to do it. Completing it is the reward itself. I committed to 1000 minutes this month and I am down 200 (I think, I have to look at my calendar) sooooo 800 or so to go. I am doing a combination of walking, situps, cardioglide and will start punching the punching bag (great stress reliever). Have a great day everyone and I hope you like my inserts.

Hi Everyone, Yesterday I did not excercise was kinda feeling a little sluggish. I think I am in the premenopause stage. I did do great on my eating and started to incorporate the points system from weight watchers. I did my 20 minutes of walking to work and will finish up the 40 minutes later in the day. Soon to be thin. How do you get so much kickboxing in? I would love to that. Do you go to a gym?

Full Steam Ahead, if it wasn't for your guidance and my friend knowing about the internet, I would still have a plane post. How do you get the ticker to move though when you lost weight?

Have a great day and keep on moving...

TeresaR 04-13-2007 05:24 PM

I'm IN

My goal for the month is to be able to walk from The FOster's Business Library on the UW campus to home (about 1/4 mile) without running out of breathe. It's a fairly wasy walk though I do have some stair climbing and a slight (easy) uphill walk for a short minut or two. So far since I've started I can now do the walk without having to sit down about half way home though I still am breathing hard but I'm not as completely out of breath as when I started at the beginning of the month. I have to say the the walk to the library is much much easier...I've worked up a small sweat but not breathing all that hard. For me that is-lol

NurseMichelle 04-14-2007 07:36 AM

WOW you girls are all doing GREAT! (check me out~I'm at the bottom of page one!)

B4Me I know how to move your ticker! (pick me! pick me! ::::hand waving wildly in the air:::::) Just click on user CP in the upper left corner. Then you can pick TWO places....edit PROFILE so you can change your s/c/g then/or you can go to edit SIGNATURE and scroll down and where you see the S/C/G you just backspace and change the number of the "current"....um I hope that was clear enough :D

Oh and I found that editing tickers from other sites were not as successful as changing the ones from here on 3fc? I had a cute one from tickerfactory? but it wanted me to go back and redo the whole ticker instead of just fixing it. Anyone else? So I just stick with the cute ones on here.

Teresa, I think that's wonderful that your walking, it's always such a great way to start...keep up the awesome work. : ) walking is still the mainstay of my program and I enjoy it the most, especially when I am able to do it outdoors.
