My exercise went down the drain this past week so time for me to get back at it.
63 min aerobics and 50 crunches |
Hi!
I completed my exercise week yesterday with running and walking. I tried a new exercise regime yesterday night. Some fancy exercises I found in the new German issue of Shape....They are like "Oh my...."- I am just able to do half of the wanted repetions until I break down. But i am working on it! kate |
Kate -great job last week
as for me I only got in 3 days of exercise...I'm going to try for more this week |
60 min. upper body weights
|
I worked out really hard sunday on the weights and today I'm so sore I don't even want to move...hope I lossen up by tonight cause I plan to go to the gym....
have a great day |
Ok, it wasnīt real exercises, but I think it still counts:
Yesterday: 5 hours cutting a hedge (more than 50 metres long, more than 5`4 ft tall) Today: 1 1/2 hours of reparing a fence (What a joy living on the country side....) I think Iīll do some exercises this evening because my back and my shoulders are hurting and maybe I get some relief Good job everyone!! :carrot: Kate |
5 K walking
Kate, you could of cut 1/2 or even 1/4 of the hedge. I know with me it is the compulsive personailty, I would of done it all too ;) A good way to keep away from the food but hard on the body. Way to go with the exercise Kate. Donna and Harpo |

Ok, I have a question for all you runner and walker outthere: I have a huge problem with insects while running. Craneflys, wesp...all around me. I tried to run when itīs not so hot, but it wasnīt really better. Anyone a idea what to do?? Long trouser and T- Shirt? Kate |
kate-sorry I can't really help you...I don't exercise much outside cause I can't stand to heat...and here in Texas it's hot and muggy....I only try jogging in the winter time....Have you tried any sprays like "off"
I haven't worked out since sunday...I pushed myself so hard last time that I've been sore for days...I'm going to go to the gym today though |

Hi everybody!
Well, unfortunately we donīt have Off! here in Germany- sad, because the name sounds like the product would work....We have quite a similar product, itīs called Autan. But itīs not working for me. You know, I had a horse for years. And there was always the same problem with keeping the insects away. There are a lot of biting little thingys outthere at the moment. And the LOVE me! I did 30min running and walking today. :carrot: But the weather is still awful here. I am feeling dizzy and I not able to do much. kate |
Kate,
Can you get avon products? There is one, called "skin so soft" that really helps keep the bugs off of me. It also helped keep my former doggie flea free! Sorry to hear you're not feeling great! I posted in the binge-free thread, asking you if you were getting enough water? Congrats on keeping up with the exercise! Especially considering the lousy weather and the lousy bugs! You are inspiring me to start again on my dreadmill! :woops: |
Kate I hear you on the bad weather...it has rained here for the last week...today is supposed to be better..I sure hope so....How is your running going?
I managed to get in 40 mins on bike on wed and yesterday I made it to the gym for 45 mins of weighs and 30 mins on elliptical...Hope to make it 2 more days this week.. I wonder where everyone has gone...seems like we are the only ones left..I hope they just forgot about us and that they haven't fallen of the wagon |
4.7 K walking
Way to go Donna and Kate. Kate be sure your not wearing any perfume or sweet or flower smelling deodorant while your outside. We get a few mosquitoes but not many because they spray the streets here in the summer to keep the bug population down. We we go camping in the mountains we use Off. |
