Ellis it sounds that you are doing great. I am doing well, we were able to catch an earlier flight so we got back yesterday afternoon. I did gain 5lbs, but did lots of exercising, and ate well, so i am sure it will come off soon. DH and I placed second in a twisting contest. There were 11 decks on the boat, and we took the stairs as much as we could. (going from deck 3 to deck11 was rough, so we took the elevator then) I have to run, but will post again tomorrw.

Excellent that you had a great time Ellen.. twisting contest you say - that sounds like fun.

Elliss.. yep, I sit at a computer for the entire day some days and think that I would be shocked to see just how much activity that I DON'T do.

But I lost another kilos this morning I am so happy... It has been a long time since I have lost weight two weeks running So I am down almost 5 pounds by your count so far this month.

Have a great day.

Sorry ladies I have been in a little funk since I got back. I found out that I must ot have been doing as much as I could have been. I gained 5lbs on the crise, but I think it is mainly water weight. I have already lost 4 of them. I have been extra diligent getting my water in and I have been watching my food like a hawk.
The kids have been challenging me since we got back, so that has made my life a little tougher, but we seem to be hitting a good area today. They have been much better Today, they must feel better now that they know that we are back for good.

Cruise facts~THey severd food 24 hrs a day(room service) but in one or the other dining rooms it was being served for 22hrs aday. Dh and I learned the basics of Swing dance and Salsa dancing. We had a blast. We also got up early and walked/ran a mile before breakfast. While we were docked in Mexico it was 80F and it felt like heaven. We saw some of the Mayan ruins and learned a whole bunch that I did not know before. I know I got some great shots, but I still have to develop the pics. We took a regular camera with us. We both also went snorkeling for the first time. It was so awsome. HTe only part I did not like is I swam right over a small baracuda on our way back in. My only thought was boy that is one mean looking fish, then I realized what type it was and swam as fast as I could to get farther away. (My dad says a baby baracuda can still take off your finger) And one last little tidbit...We got to listen/dance to live music everynight.

I hope you ladies are doing well. Drop in when you can. Later chicas

Your cruise sounds lovely. I have studied some Maya archaeology at uni and would love to visit the ruins in Guatemala.. what a wonderful experience for you.

I hope everything settles at home!

Ellen, what a wonderful time you must have had!
I'm sorry about the weight, but you're doing great getting it back off. I'll bet you're right... that most of it is just water.
I hope things go okay with the kids today, hon.

Marianna, congratulations on the kilo, sweetie! That's wonderful!!
Do you think we can get our butts off the computer for a few minutes today?

I'm doing pretty well. My eating is good, for the most part. I'm starting to slack off with journaling it, though, so I'm going to work on that today. I really don't have a clue what, or how much I'm eating over the course of a day if I don't write it down.

I'm keeping our youngest home today. We allow our kids two "mental health days" a year, and this is one of his. Poor love... he had to redo some homework last night, got terribly distressed, and developed a wicked headache. We're going to play school today for a little while, and just be relaxed about it.

I went to another exercise class yesterday. Three this week! I'm feeling good about it... my abs and my lats and my thighs (squats!) are killing me.

I hope everyone is well... have a great day!

Ellen, congratulations on the 4lbs!!
I'm glad your family is feeling better...
And I hope you find a gym! DH and I got a family membership to the Y several years ago, and we love it there. We let it expire last year, but we're going to join again soon. There's so much there for all of us.

Ellen - wonderful to read of your weight loss

Ellis - how is the new program treating you?

I am ok here.. we are starting a new business, so grabbed a few quick and easy meals like pasta and rice, so I have put on a kilo - with the pcos I just can't do carbs in any decent amount and lose weight. But I am not to stressed about it because my eating behaviours weren't bad as such - and I doubt that the choice of food would be considered terrible for most.

Classes at university start tonight. I am so excited.

Hope you are all well.
