  • Happy Monday y'all! The weekend is too short.

I worked this weekend on getting alot of my old, too big clothes photographed and measured and all for listing on ebay. That made me feel great. It was neat to look at all the sizes I have been through in the last year. I can't wait to start raking in the dough from all my sales. So I can buy new smaller clothes, of course!

My eating wasn't perfect over the weekend, but no binges, just some overeating. Yesterday was perfect and I expect that to continue through this week.

    Have a good one everyone!
  • Melissa - that's great about the clothes. I was looking through my dresser the other day to see what smaller clothes I have. It will be awhile before I can get into them, though - but I will! I had an easier weekend this time. Not too much temptation. Even made it through a movie without using my free popcorn ticket. I'm getting close to the point where I won't have any more excuses. Dreamed the other night that I was walking up and down hills like I used to. Have a good week.
  • Girls, I feel TERRIBLE for not being here lately. Only two weeks left of my program, and then you'll be absolutely SICK to death of my frequent posts.

Melra, how did your show go?

Melissa, I'm glad things are going better for you... so sorry you've had a rough time lately.

Cheeze, Rosetta, you're doing so well, girl!! I hear ya re: the scales. My doctor's scale is almost 10 pounds more than mine, but I go by mine.

Rachel, congratulations on making the dean's list!! AND on the weight loss!!

Rikki, how's your week going, hon? I hope that positive feeling is staying with you...

Kay, welcome! I hope you come back and post more!

Alisha, what an experience you had! I'm so glad you weren't injured. How are things going?

Me? Not losing, not gaining. sigh. Still walking an hour, five times a week, though. Better than nothing, eh?
I don't know how you girls go to work everyday and still keep your house clean, plus cook meals, plus be NICE to your families/friends, etc. I am just TEARING my hair out, here!

Sending you all love and hugs...
  • Hi Ellis! Nice to see you.

I did not get up to go the gym this morning. BUT I will do my run at lunch. I will not let this knock me off track on my eating today. I have two days clean eating down - 25,000 or so to go.
  • Man I was so busy this weekend. I was so bad this whole weekend, but in spite of that, I still lost another pound, so I'm down to 152!

Just checking in real quick, I have to get ready for work then go to school later.
  • Hi Ellis, glad you stopped by. Don't worry too much about housework -- it will be there when you're ready. And don't think all of the rest of us are super women. Speaking for myself, my studio apartment has dust bunnies bigger than James Stewart's Harvey. Your program is really intensive but it sounds like its worthwhile.
Well I weighed this morning and I'm down another 2 lbs since Saturday. It will be a good weigh-in tonight at the clinic.
Rachel - good going on the additional 1 lb. lost. All these little losses add up.
  • Good going on the loss Rachel and you too Rosetta! Glad someone is losing. I just keep messing around in the 160's. I feel like I've been here forever.

Ellis, somedays I feel like superwoman - but some days I just feel like a crazy woman! Yesterday was good. I got home and make 2 dinners. One for last night and one for tonight because we will be out until 7:30. I also made my lunch for two days, got my clothes out for the next two days. Those days make me feel fabulous. Tonight though, my daughter has gymnastics and we don't get home until 7:30, then its bathtime and bedtime and I don't get anything done. It usually snowballs until Saturday or Sunday when I catch up again.
  • I weighed and measured today and i'm up 2 lbs (water weight you know!) but since 8/1/2005 I've lost 11 inches! I'm so happy, the majority was in my waist (-3.50)

I think once you get toward the end of your weight loss, isn't it then you lose your tummy? Because it was staying pretty much the same there for a while....

I weigh more than I did 3/2004 (I weighed 146) but my body fat percentage is lower... (31.60% vs. 32.90%) so I'm in better shape....my goal is to get down to at least 25% body fat....I hope. Let's cross our fingers!

Gonna go eat. talk to y'all later.
  • Hey everyone just checking in again and bumping the thread up.

Man I've just been itching to talk to someone on the phone today. No one is home. All are at work. OOOOH I want someone to call me and talk to me...

    I think I have issues.
  • I'm here! Briefly.

Rachel, tell us all about you.

I hope everyone is doing well... love and hugs to all...
  • I got up at 4:30am, got to the gym before 5am and ran 5 miles this morning!! It took me exactly 70 minutes and I burned about 400 calories. Who is this woman? Where did the real Melissa go?

My weight is hanging tight at 164, but truth be told, I haven't been super tight on the food. I will buckle down again soon.

Good job on the inches Rachel. It makes a bigger difference then pounds.

    Have a great weekend girls!
  • Oh I guess I didn't make a proper introduction!

I'm Rachel and I live in Nebraska. I'm 17 and a sophomore in college. I'll be 18 on Christmas Day Right now I live with my dad, but next year I plan on going to College of St. Mary and staying in a dorm there. I have two jobs that I absolutely LOVE -- teaching martial arts and working in before/after school care with elementary children. So needless to say, I'm going to school to be a teacher. In August 2006 I'll graduate with an Associate's Degree in Art (then I'm going to transfer) so i'll be one of the only 18 year olds I know with a college degree!

Right now I'm taking Geography, Intermediate Algebra and Beginning French. I HATE GEOGRAPHY! It's so stupid....but it's a requirement.

So yeah that's me in a nutshell....now if you'll excuse me I have to go study for my Geo test that's today that I didn't study for!!!
  • A Christmas baby! Thanks for telling us about yourself, Rachel! And good luck with the geography test!!

I'm closing this thread, and starting a fresh one for October.
