Ah... counting calories, Legally Brunette! So simple, and yet, so honest. Maybe I should try that again myself.

Leenie, me too with the pre-bedtime eating. I have acid reflux. Although I take meds for it, they don't work perfectly, and I often wake up choking if I've eaten badly before bed. But does that stop me from doing it again? NO!!
I've got a big binder full of recipes that I've collected over the years. I'm going to look through that for some ideas. I'd like to make stuff that I can divide and freeze. Is it you that does that, Leenie?

I don't mind chatting if someone would remind me of the time. I'm pretty forgetful about things like that.

I was thinking of starting an exercise thread to log our achievements. Would anyone be up for that?

Melissa, how did the pizzas turn out? I've always wanted to try that... it sounds WICKED!!

The pizzas were yummy Ellis. I used Boboli crusts, broiled chicken, chopped green onion and ready to eat bacon with 2% cheddar cheese and part skim mozzarella. While we were eating them I told hubby "I totally rock!". After my long bike ride home I chose to eat my pizza with an ice cold beer. It was a perfect Friday dinner.

I have decided to do 1200/1300 calories Sun/Thurs and 1500 on Friday and Saturdays. It seems to happen anyway and this way maybe I won't get so mad at myself when I screw up. We'll see. If I start gaining then I will need to be more careful.

Good Morning

Ellis yes, I cook ahead and freeze stuff. Mostly I'll cook on the weekend enuf for dinners for the week. When I come home at night I'm like a slug. I'm out of the house for almost 12 hours and then to have to come home and cook with a 3 year old just aint gonna happen. If I don't pre-cook stuff on the weekends we wind up eating like poop during the week.

Today I am making a pot roast (its actually been cooking since 6 am this morning lol) and some ckn breast (I'll grill that later). I'll also cook up some noodles or rice and keep that plain so what ever mood we are in, we can add a sauce to it. Quick and easy.

Melissa your calorie plan sounds very good. I bet you'll do just fine on it, especially with all that exercising you do. Your pizza sounds great !!!

Today I'm going to finish laundry, and I need some more fake plants for my 10 gallon fish tank I got yesterday. I had 2 gold fish in a 2.5 gallon tank and wouldn't you know, they got soooo big. I felt bad and went out to get them a bigger tank. But the problem is, I don't have no cover for them (plants) or enuf stones for the bottom. So I'll go shopping today for that. They look lost in there but they really look like they are enjoying being able to swim all that distance. I hate seeing animals cooped up in little areas LOLOL !!!

Well its time for more coffee. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and a great new week thats ahead.

HUGS !!

I hope your DH agreed with you, Melissa. They sound awesome!!
Hmmm... you're counting calories, too, eh? Maybe I should think about it...

Cool... you have fish, Leenie! Wow... great tank! A lot of our Chinese and Vietnamese neighbours/friends have huge tanks with beautiful fish. It's better than a tv.
We have a small tank, but now that we have the guinea pigs, we've just let the fish die off (naturally, of course!), and the tank is empty now. I loved our corey (sp?) fish. They were so cute.

Okay, so no one responded regarding the exercising thread. Hellooooo?
Leenie, I think it would be good if you and I did 10 minutes or so. It would be a lot better than we're doing right now. (sorry, I'm speaking for both of us, here. I AM speaking to my sister sloth, am I not?)
Melissa is biking her way towards babedom and health, and we're sitting on our big bums watching her.

I know watching her with a bag of chips in one hand and a diet soda in the other OY!

Okay put me down for 10 minutes, I will start tomorrow. 10 minutes is something. I was doing good about 2 weeks ago and then poof, lost it.

Scary Leenie! I was probably reading this with a bag of Doritos in one hand and a Diet Pepsi in the other. Thanks for the faith in me guys. I haven't had the best weekend. Up to 1550 calories today too. The extra calories burned on Friday sure aren't going to hold me through a bunch of weekends like this. I'm not sure if my period is too blame or that fact that hubby isn't home tonight. I'm about to enter a really trecherous period for me here. This week is my birthday, then I have one week that should be okay, then my sister is in town for two weeks and we are go-go-go the whole time. Add to that, my hubby has now started working second shift so I have a lot more "me" time to eat in secret. I AM NOT DONE YET! I STILL HAVE WEIGHT TO LOSE. I CANNOT GET COMPLACENT. I MUST BE STRONG!
