Question

I had a weight scale that the spring broke in. So to put my mind at ease my fiance bought another one. His daughter came in the room and asked me why we really needed a nother one because it is not a necesity. I just kept on telling her that we needed one with out a real explanation. I guess the truth is there realy isnt one. Wheighing my self on the scale is my compulsive habit. I weigh my self approximately 12 times aday. Does anybody out their have any compulsive habits let me know because I know I am not the only one.

chat with you later

oh angel! I used to weigh myself like that along time ago! I would weigh myself when I woke up, before bed, before the bathroom, after the bathroom...the whole nine yards. It does make you crazy! With a little work I have gotten to the point that I can use the scale as a tool (I type that knowing full well that I have gained weight because I just can not get a handle on my eating lately...so I am scared as anything to hop back on and see the damage that I have done!)

Anyway, remember we are so much more than what the number on that scale says...we can not let it make or break our day...we are what we are and we can hope to move on and find some balance (not in the scale!) Sometimes I feel like I should just put my goal weight on the darn thing and say ....THERE! I am at goal!!!

Take care of you!
