Default Losing Control

I have been dieting for 3 months and it's been quite up and down, but I lost a stone so far. However, I feel like I am losing control and the binge days are getting more and more frequent again. This is really impacting upon my weightloss and I feel like I could gain back all my losses. It is total sabotage.

Also, my spending on food is getting silly again and that is making me really worried, financially. Does anyone else have this issue??

I am 21 is 3 days and this problem ruined my teens basically, I want rid of it now for adulthood, sick of it

xxxx

Are there any medical services (such as doctor-led programs) available to support you? It sounds like you could use that kind of support right now, and I encourage you to look into it.

Hi Joselo
Losing weight is never going to be easy, none of us would be here if it was! What is helping me stick with it this time is accepting that it is not a quick fix and I really have to make it a lifestyle change. To do that it has got to be manageable and acceptable to live with for the rest of my life. Kaplods has some really helpful posts on how to look at this, it would be worth having a search through her posts. Make sure you are eating enough of the right kind of calories. Restricting too much leads to bingeing and failure. You can eat anything within reason, keep that in mind as well as long as it fits in with your eating plan. I make big pots of soup and have a cup of that between meals sometimes, just to take the edge of my appetite. Look at it as a personal journey, if something doesn't work, take note and keep tweaking. Small steps really will get you there. If you do that, where could you be, say, 4 yrs from now!! That might not be the quick fix we would like but it sure beats the misery and yoyoing we can spend the best part of our life doing!
