Unhappy First binge in a long time :(

I have been doing so well, I feel like I've gotten back on the right track.

Then, I binged. I have no idea why I have been feeling great, and healthy. I've lost 6 of the 11 pounds I gained over the holidays. Why am I trying to wreck my progress?

How much damage have I done? I ate about 3 handfuls of pistachios, some imitation crab meat, half a bag of microwave popcorn and 2 ice cream sandwiches ( which, by the way, I NEVER even want!!) the scale this morning was up.4. Ugh. Typically, I will let something like this turn into at least a 3 day eating fest. I will not do that this time.

One plus is I told my husband what I ate, something I've never done in the last.

Don't beat yourself up, we all slip up once in a while. The scale most likely was up that much due to water retention from the salty popcorn and the nuts. Drink lots of water today, eat an apple or two, and they will act like dieuretics. Jump back on your plan and don't lose sight of your goals.

Ugh, I hate those little mini-binges. They're not huge but they are pretty "binge-y" in terms of what you eat - seems like a hodgepodge of random crap.

Onward and upward. Glad you are taking steps you haven't in the past. You'll get back on track!
