I think we all have those times when we despair of ever reining ourselves back in, after slipsliding! Still, that's when the "one day at a time" thinking comes in to play. Truly - just get back on the horse. We can choose whether to let ourselves go long enough to pack it all back on, or deal with the five binge pounds resulting from a few guilty pleasures. I actually resisted some impulse eating today, and am so pleased with myself about it. Am now baking a birthday cake for someone in my office tomorrow, and confess to licking the batter in my Cuisinart. But, I'm not remotely tempted to eat the cake, thankthepowers! You've already made the decision to pull yourself together - now just do it! You'll be fine! Anyone who wants to buddy with me is welcome. I truly have my work cut out for me since I'm a personal chef! LUCKILY, I'm working for a guy who has 100lbs to lose, right now - so we're doing Atkins alongside each other. I've lost a 7 pounds since New Years Eve, and am hoping to keep on keeping on! Am walking at every opportunity, and really loving it!
