I maxed out on calories during dinner (instead of during a night snack like usual) and I didn't have a snack which would have really made me feel bad.
I didn't taste tomorrow's breakfast I prepared tonight even though it looked so good. |
i haven't had a chance to say 'no' to anything yet today, but i said 'yes' to almost everything i shouldn't have yesterday. so today i'm putting my foot down and saying 'no' to anything unhealthy that might tempt me!
let's hope i can stick to it! |
I said NO, and have been saying NO to all the goodies tempting me at the Dunkin Donuts drive through when I get my morning latte....for which I say YES to skim milk!
|
I said no to more snacking after class... my stomach can wait till dinner!
|
I said NO to snacking. I said YES to a protein shake instead
|
i said NO to a second s'more
i treated myself to just one because they're my FAVORITE over the summer when i was at my worst binge-wise, i would eat 5 or 6 at a time, so i'm proud of myself for stopping at 1 (: i binged earlier in the week because i gave into cravings for comfort food when i got sick, now i'm trying to be really good (but not punishing myself!) and balance out my average weekly calories. i've accepted i will probably either stay the same or gain a pound at my weekly weigh in tomorrow morning, but i'm not going to beat myself up over it. it's a minor set back, and i'm proud that i stopped my one day of binging from turning into a week of binging. this thread helps me so much! when i'm tempted by something i think 'being able to say later that i said no to this will make me a lot happier than the taste ever could' you can do it ladies! say no! |
I said NO to fast food, drove right home after errands and prepared my healthy choices instead :)
A real temptation every time I leave my house since I pass approximately 7-15 fast food joints on my way to the freeway out of town depending on the route, I can choose a route with only two fast food joints but that's as low as it gets lol. Yuck when did my pretty small town become known to the fast food pushers. |
Homemade mint chocolate fudge.

I went out to dinner with my family last night. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and a cup of soup. When my salad came out there was no chicken on it, so I had to flag down the waitress to point this out to her and then wait, and wait, and wait for my chicken. When she brought it she asked me to pick out a dessert and she wouldn't charge us. I turned it down, despite repeated offers.

Popcorn at the football game last night. Drank a 32 oz bottle of water instead, while walking up and down the sidelines keeping stats! A nice little 2 hour walk. :D
|
Birthday cake - mine! - because I had already had excess everything for supper! It involved a hamburger and brie cheese and caramelized onions and sweet potato fries, so I didn't really feel deprived! I felt pleasantly spoiled, not overfull, and no sugar hangover this morning! So that's actually two nights in a row, because the girls at work took me out on Thursday and also wanted me to have dessert (tiramisu...mmmmmm....), which I resisted.

I said no to ignoring my treadmill in favor of the sofa and got in the 3 miles I had planned for today. :)

I said no to 2 things. The first was some fresh, hot homemade tamles. The second was chocoalte - the kind all the schools sale for fundraising. A co-worker brought her child's and although I bought 10 bars at $1.00 each, I dispersed them ALL to other co-workers who have children at home . Out of sight, out of mind
