I said no to pizza and garlic bread at the office... sooo hard!! before I wouldve gorged myself on them and then fall into a spiral of shame and post binge binging! So, not to that too :)

Last night I was at a friend's house. This is the friend that I always drink, smoke, and binge with. I went there with a firm resolve not to, but around ten I started having the urge to binge. We even went to the grocery store. But once I got there I started feeling guilty and whipped out my IPhone and read a few threads on 3FC and realized it wasn't worth it. So I stayed in the produce section while they shopped for bad stuff. I went home with a watermelon, a bag of popcorn kernels to airpop, and a box of low fat sugar free fudgesicles. I ate two fudgesicles and a bit of popcorn while they gorged on cheesecake, and I felt AWESOME. I ate one tiny little corner of cheesecake and realized it STILL wasn't worth it. So I ate my fudgesicles and I'm SO FREAKING PROUD of myself.
I said NO to a binge that involved cheesecake! So freaking proud of myself! (( Oh and you know what else I bought while they were buying cheesecake? A new digital bathroom scale! Buahaha! )) |
I said NO to white cheddar popcorn and pancakes. I did pinch the pancakes the kids made but only a pinch.

Ice Cream social at work today from Marble Slab Creamery. There were ladies in my office getting seconds and thirds, but I stayed clear. I was content to wait until I got home and enjoy some fat free breyers in a 20 calorie cake cone.

I am saying NO to late night eating RIGHT NOW!! no pb toast that is not needed and will stall my efforts...and I came to 3FC to help me!!

I said no to the chocolate cake and had grapes instead.
I said no to soda (bad habit) and had water all day. I said no to leftovers from dinner. |
I said "no" to my son. He brought over a chocolate cream pie and insisted that I could eat just one piece. (He is still in his 20s, buff and thin and can eat like that for a while longer).

I said NO to dinner after 10pm!!! yay! it was hard, but it was bread for dinner and even though i love sweat bread.....

I said no to Halloween candy already in two candy bowls at work.

I said NO to a double cheese burger from Burger King, and an ice cream cone from McDonald's ... this was the first time I actually had to really really say NO. I looked at the nutrition facts at Burger King so long trying to justify that dbl cheeseburger. Then tonight when with my daughter to Walmart and saw that huge banner with the cone for 75 cents and thought it'll be OK I can have it. Then I called my daughter and told her I was ready to go.

Today I said "no" to hating myself for what I did or didn't eat, for which pants I fit into, for the number on the scale. I said "no" to equating my fat with 'gross' or 'inherently bad' and I said "no" to thinking of myself as gross or bad because of my body.
I said "yes" to laughing with girlfriends, getting those loads of laundry I had been putting off done, and remembering to keep my diet goal in mind without thinking negatively about my body as it is today. Good job everyone! :cheer2: |
Yesterday's supper: I said "no" to scalloped potatoes, made with cream and lots of gooey cheese!
