Unhappy A half step backward....

I had been doing pretty well with this. I lost fifteen pounds in about a month!

But....this past weekend, I went to a convention with my friend....and went completely off plan. >.> I ate wayyy too much and drank way too much as well. v.v I had committed myself to not drinking anything alcoholic on this diet, but I completely blew it. And, gained around five pounds back as a result.

And now I'm having trouble getting back on plan completely. I've been binging the past couple nights. Like, horribly.

I'm quite disappointed in myself. -_-

Okay, so you took a detour. Really no big deal! As long as you don't let it prevent you from getting back on track. Those 5 pounds? Most likely a large part water weight from all the junk and alcohol.

Don't think of it like oh no, I've blown everything and now I have to jump back on the wagon... Forget about the weekend, and just start making healthy choices again, one step at a time.

I hear you Olliconnely...
This morning, I finally got under 210! I was really happy.
My brother just came home with leftover pizza from Mellow Mushroom Pizza and I just had a big piece. I am guessing that tomorrow morning I am going to be back at or above 210. Frustrating.

I do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and am going to be down about 10 pounds from my last visit regardless.....so that in itself is a major accomplishment and what I am focusing on.

Think that is bad?

I was ONE (1!!!) pound away from the elusive Onederland. Having come from a weight of 321, I would say 199 would have been an incredible accomplishment!

Binged like you wouldn't believe. Stumbled and tripped all throughout the month of May and June, and ended up with a 16+ pound gain. Oiy.

But you know? I could have been worse, really. And you know what else? I kinda like healthy eating, and enjoy the 1600 calories I eat daily. So having taken a "Detour" was just that. A detour. I'm back on plan, and while the 16 pounds will not come off as quickly as your 5 pound gain, still: it could have been worse, right?

Keep that in mind!

I didn't do that great this past weekend either. But it is what it is.

Take it one day at a time. Today is a new day!
