happytobeamomof2,
I think that's not a bad idea. It would take some of the stress. Sometimes I start cooking and don't realize it'll take much more time than I have. At the moment I really need stuff that kind of prepares itself. Like vegetables roasting in the oven. Yeah, I think I gonna write out a food plan later. Thanks for the idea!

ooooo i agree! happytobeamomof2 that sounds like such a good idea, i think that might help me too. sometimes im happy just having it in my head but i guess if its written down then food can be something you dont even have to think about!

i only get a chance to go to the store once a week (i have full custody of my two young boys) so it is essential i write it all out... it really had helped me! the other thing i just did was buy a replica 1lb of human fat... it is revolting! every time i want to binge, i just look at that "thing" and it stops me dead in my tracks!!!

Starting Day 2. I decided that having the piece of cheesecake wasn't enough to make me start over. (it was 1/8 of a 9 in cake tin, but less than inch high - And might I say, I am a phenomenal baker!)
A friend wanted to go to breakfast this morning, Noahs Bagels. I was a little worried because I thought carbs were my trigger. But, I got a egg white cheese wrap and ate about 3/4 of it, decided I was full, and tossed the rest. I am SO used to finishing everything on my plate now, so this is progress for me.
Heading to the gym now! Good thing my friend is a total work out nut and I know he's gonna push me out of my comfort zone.

Hope to see you all for day 3!

http://www.diabeaters.com/ .... they have cool stuff there !!! this 1lb fat in my pocket does two things...reminds me that i lost 140+ of these things and also gives me an excellent visual as to how gross fat really is and how little of it i want on my body!!! (it is cool that it fits in a "large" pocket so i carry it around now and it is always there...instead of having to self talk so much or go find a before photo etc)... totally worth the money!

Tyla- congrads on 118 days! I could never do that. Almost two yrs. ago I decided to eat all whole foods, nothing white( refined sugar, enriched flour, potatoes, white rice, white bread, etc.) If I did want rice it was brown rice, 100% whole grain stuff only and very little of it. It makes me gain, so do starches. No more processed foods also. I eat greek yogurt, tons of fruit, veggies, skinless boneless chicken and seafood for lean protien and my favorite is natural peanut butter( just peanuts creamed, Alot of fat though ) All the fiber keeps me full at about 1000 to 1100 cal. a day and my fat intake is very low unless I crave peanut butter. I like to watch my salt intake too, that helps. Also, my breakfast is huge, about 400 to 500 cal., mostly fruit and a fiber cereal. Lunch is a greek yogurt and more fruit( 300cal.) I don't eat dinner after 6pm and I keep my carbs at no higher that 10mg. for dinner and is the least calories( lean protein+ veggies), after that no more for the rest of the night. If you eat most of your carbs and calories before 3pm. you can easily burn them off and they can't turn to fat. Hope this helps, let me know what you think.

I am on day 6 binge free and it feels great!

nmgirl - it is pretty realistic! it is softish... a little squishy and really just plain gross...they even included little red spots like real fat would have blood in it.... it is very very real (although i've only ever seen 'fat' without skin on tv)... i think this is one of the best motivators i've ever run across!
