  • wiosna -- pick yourself up and start again! We're here for you!! You can do it!
  • Let's make it another binge free day ladies! I am staring my morning off with some hearty peanut butter and jelly oatmeal :-) yum! Good luck today!!

  • I survived my first binge free day yesterday! I feel great and the scale already went down because of it. It's so great waking up without feeling guilty. On to my 2nd binge free day!

D, the oatmeal sounds amazing! I love PBJ!!! How do you make it?
  • poop! I'm starting over again, Day 1 - but I did get 2 days this time without binges AND it was a smaller binge than sometimes! gonna do some self reflection and try for through Monday, no binges!
  • Hey girls. Bad day yesterday Its so frustrating because I know exactly what to do to be healthy and feel great but I manage to screw it up. I have a 10k race on Sunday so my goal for the next few days is to fuel myself for the race and eat well so that I can run my best. That means no binges!!! Good luck!
  • Jessica, congrats to you on day 1! =)

Lost, way to look on the bright side. This is kind of cliche, but I really find that it helps to take this one day at a time - because the days add up! When I tell myself I'll get through an entire week or some other specified length of time, I think it sets up really high expectations that can be harmful to me.

TC - good luck on the race!
  • Jessica..the pb&j oatmeal is SO easy! Just make plain oats and add a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter and the same of the jelly/jam. I actually have a jar of homemade plum jam that a friend gave me so I've been using that and it's sooo yummy!
Takingcharge and Lost..it's a brand new day ladies!!! What's done is done, congrats on picking yourselves back up, you can do it!!

  • This was my post in the other binge thread, posted yesterday:

I was SO close to not only a perfect on-plan day, but a DEFICIT (350 less than I usually eat, to make up for the awful weekend).
Then, seeing as how I had to go to the grocery store after class (9:30 pm-ish) to get a fruit platter for a work party, let’s just say evil forces took over. I was also stressed b/c I knew I had to have a discussion w/ hubby that was not going to go over well.
It was like a PRE-fight binge, in the grocery store parking lot. THEN I had 428 cal of special K fruit/yogurt cereal once I got HOME. Toward the end I was picking out the dried yogurt bits and eating just those.

This morning I was so disgusted w/ myself I had a fruit and protein shake for breakfast, hardly packed any snacks, plan on drinking lots of coffee and water today...

    ----------------
So to update yesterday: I was GOOD when I got home.
    (Didn't exercise, but didn't overeat).
    I didn't have a deficit, but I was OP.
    So today is day 2.

  • I thought I could do a binge-free week, but yesterday I fell into old habits.

It is so hard to stay motivated when I have sooooo far to go!!!!
  • This is about day number 3 for me with no binges.
  • hooray ohiofreespirit!
  • I completed Day 2 successfully!! Feeling great being back on track. I almost binged this afternoon. I was craving sweets so bad, but I texted my husband and he talked me out of it. I was fine a few minutes later. Whoo Hoo!
  • I've been binge-free for one day..gonna do this this weekend!!!
  • Good job Jessica and Jennifer! I am approaching the end of binge free day 4 :-)
