Default Small binge...

I am not going to say I full on binged because I believe I am still within my calories for the day -- but I baked some fresh bread (for my husband) to go with some super healthy and awesome soup I made -- and I ate too much

I made two loaves and thankfully, gave a loaf to a friend so I won't be tempted -- but I ate too much bread. I know I did, and I knew I was while I was eating it. *sigh* I was planning one small slice with my soup (reasonable, right?) Yeah, I had like 4 slices.

I just cannot reasonably eat carbs yet (other than beans and such which are not a trigger).

I feel bad, but I need to write about it because what typically would happen in previous weight loss attempts, is that I would "make up for" the binge by starving myself the next day or whatever -- and I absolutely CANNOT get into that cycle.

I already jogged a mile today so I am going to do two more miles tonight (walking dvd) and start fresh tomorrow ON PLAN.

No binging,
No starving.
No beating myself up about it. I didn't "undo" everything.

Back on that horse...

*sigh* Just wanted to be accountable and let it out. Thanks for listening.

Thanks for letting it out.. I hope you at least enjoyed the bread

Also just as bad as the starving yourself cycle is after you mess up.. so is getting yourself into an exercise cycle..
It is good to do those extra exercises, but make sure that you're not doing them just to make up for the extra bread. That leads to what is termed exercise bulemia.. It can be just as dangerous as bulemia or starving yourself..

You're doing an awesome job! Keep up the awesome work! And you are making progress in that you gave the extra loaf away! Good job, I find myself doing that. I'll make a batch of cookies and give most of them to friends, family, coworkers.. and leave a few for us

yup, writing about it, admitting it really helps. we won't judge, we all have our weaknesses. At least you kept it to a minimum, stayed within your calories and didn't react inappropriately, by starving yourself. good for you
