I'm resisting too. Day 3 binge-free. It's been mentally difficult this week to keep the urges at bay, but the scale is going down. :)

3 days binge-free, working on #4.
Friday will be a problem and will definitely break any streak that I've put together. We're having "food day" at work, which usually results in me leaving work early because I eat so much that I feel sick and angry. Then we're passing out candy, and I'm sure after a few hours of rest, I'll be ready to go into the post-trick or treat chocolate. :?: Well, I guess I can start with a goal of not getting sick and leaving work early on Friday. |
Yesterday, I was at orientation for my new job, and they had a ton of Halloween candy sitting out. I did eat several pieces, more than I should, but I managed to control myself and not eat a ton. A small victory, but for me, not eating all the candy there was a big accomplishment.

I am sure they will have candy out at the gym tomorrow, too. Good job stopping the binge, Athendta.

Kudos to you Athendta for stopping...That's one of my biggest challenges is to stop from gioing on autopilot once I've started to eat something I didn't intend to ...
Today is day 7 for me...its been a long time since I've strung more than seven days together...for some reason, a week seems to be my limit, and then the floodgates open..:o Wish me luck to get past this sticking point... Good luck all, VeggieGirl1 |
Day 7 for me as well! Yesterday I was feeling hungrier than usual, but I did not binge. Had fish, small sweet potato, 1/4 of an acorn squash and mixed veggies for dinner. Ate a lot of fish out of true hunger but did not overeat. Down another 1/2 lb. this morning.
In the evening, I went with my 12 yo brother and his friend to our local Ace Hardware for pumpkin decorating and they had lollipops there for the kids...well, I really wanted one BUT I didn't take any! :carrot: Totally forgot about them after we left the store. Veggiegirl, we can both make it beyond a week...we control what goes in our mouths. |
I am still doing well with being mostly binge free this week (after the loaf of bread incident). I can't stop eating a bowl of cereal at night to stop the tummy rumbles. I don't even think I'm really hungry, I think my stomach is growling just to be a jerk. I need to buy cereal that I don't like, so my boyfriend and son have some, but I don't want any. Golden Ghrams were on sale this week..stupid delicious golden grams.

Day 4 for me. Made homemade pizza last night - stopped at 2 pieces, w. lots of salad. Had a bit of chips last night & then stopped!

I'm sticking to my 3 meals + 3 snacks a day fine. There are some binges in there, but most of them are on a smaller scale. For example today inbetween meals I had two big bowls of cereal, but a few month ago there would have been several other foods added in there too. So overall I am doing better and not beating myself up about it. Think my program is doing well :)

Glad to hear everyone is doing so well, I'd like to join in and hopefully do the same! I had a terrible binge last night (like my normal daily intake in one hour) so I am looking forward to the much needed support. No binging at all today, hopefully I can make it til bed! Gotta roll out the day 2 tomorrow...
