Hi chickies!! Welcome to the binge free challenge!! You can come in here and post your weekly successes and struggles and keep track of your binge free days. You can also vent about anything and everything you feel like getting out. This is a positive thread, so I have to enforce the "be careful about being too negative" rule. We are here to share our feelings and to encourage and inspire each other. We are strong chicks and I KNOW we all can do this!! And we don't have to do it alone, we have each other to get us through the rough times.
ALL chicks are welcome -- no one is excluded! If you are trying to lose weight, not trying, maintaining, recovering from an eating disorder, in the midst of one, or have ANY kind of problem with food, we would love to have you join us!!
If anyone has any questions or concerns, or you just need to talk privately, don't hestitate to PM me.
Hi, everyone. I'm new here but have been reading posts for a while. I think these week-long challenges are great and I'm hoping that this will be motivation for me to stay on track!
Heya jmm This challenge is full of wonderful supportive women. You can do it... if you need to binge just come here and vent it out, you'll get great encouragement
Okay, I made it through day one. So at least I've got one day under my belt and now I can work toward two. I also made sure to get enough sleep last night so I'm on the right track for today.
Day 22 here. Today I overcome something I'd never have done a few weeks ago. I was late taaing lunch (about 2-3 hours) so by the time I did manage to sit down and eat I was ravenous! I managed to sit after lunch and wait for my body to respond to food but the whole time my head was screaming ' You need more!!!' which would have lead to a binge, it always does.
Anyway, victory over binge once more hope everybody else is having a wonderful Tuesday.
Lauren - day 22...wow! Good for you. I'm with you other ladies. Today is day 2. I'm always an angel Sunday-Thursday. We'll see what happens Friday and Saturday this week.
I know that pre-binge feeling well. I almost lost it today, too. I was shopping with my son and couldn't find what I was looking for. We wandered around four stores for a total of two hours with him yammering on and on and grabbing stuff and standing in the cart, etc. (he's 4 1/2) and I was starting to wig out. I worked out for two hours before shopping and I was getting hungry, too. Anyway, we left and I came home to have a normal lunch, without buying any unplanned junk. <whew>
well, i've had a crazy day at work and missed lunch and going home to a glass of wine sounds much MUCH better than working out! ugh. i'll report back tomorrow with the damage (if any)
