April Exercise Log
Ok....I already posted this in the March thread, but decided I'd start a new one with the new month and all.
Going to get my weights and work on my arm flab...:( |
It's April Fool's Day, it's cold, it's raining and the sky is totally dark - I'm taking the day off from exercise today.

Beautiful :sunny: day so I decided on a walk instead of the gym. I think I just might get the ole bike tuned up too! So....40 min walk today.

4/2: Got in a 40 minute brisk walk pushing 150 pounds of stroller and kids. :)

Brand new week so I'll be joining as well. Barring complications that is. I've taken too many days off again. Back to the "shake your booty" groove:belly:

15 minutes Core Power class 15 minutes Abs class |
4/2 Added 20 minutes of yoga and pilates to my 40 minute walk for a total of 60 minutes.
4/3 45 minutes on the cross-trainer at the gym this morning. Plan to get in another 20 minutes of something this evening. |
Headed to Curves now. Might try the weights again tonight working on arm flab :(.

Hi everyone, I started Atkins today...again!! lol I have no willpower but I've totally convinced myself "this is it!". Today has been great so far. I went for about a 35 min walk, it was 1.15 miles according to my pedometer. Has anyone tried the "Firm" videos? I've seen them and very curious if they're "newbie friendly"?

Yesterday walked 4 miles. Rode bikes 40 minutes with my son (how can you turn down an 8 year old) |

Just got back from a 30 minute walk and will be headed to Curves in about 45 minutes. IT IS BEEEEEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE. Hurry up Spring.

Made it to Curves today. That made 5 times this week. I have gone 5 times for 3 weeks straight....I feel good about that.

Thursday's exercise was walking through the airports hauling suitcases -- my husband can't lift his.
Today was mall shopping and walking around the floor here at the office doing a furniture project. My feet hurt. |

I'm headed back to Curves today finally!!!!!!!!!! I did get in some exercise over the weekend. I painted my bathroom and living room. I know that is not "normal" exercise, but it sure was a workout. AND I love the new paint colors.
But today is back to Curves at least 4 times a week....5 if I know whats good for me. I have to get at least 30 more pounds off in 3 months!!! :bravo: to everyone for doing such a great job exercising. |

I am doing two miles three days a week which is not to much compared to some of you but it is a start I think I can feel challenged by but still drag myself out to do. It's funny, I don't want to do it but after about ten min. at it I think...this is good! Then of course about the last 5 mins I think...legs, we are going to make it right??? Love ya sistas!!! |

Just wanted to report that I have been EXTREMELY tired the past few days. Even so much that I contemplated NOT going to Curves today, but I did. AND ..... I feel so much better. After I left I felt like I had taken a 4 hour nap. The exercise got my adrenaline flowing and it felt great.
