Mowed my entire yard...which would be about an 80 minutes worth of mowing. Loaded and unloaded 10 2 x 4's out of my car from Lowes. AND just got back from Curves. :carrot:

RobinW 04-20-2006 08:04 PM

Jackie.....You've been busy!!!

spent the morning gardening, then 50 min cardio....one more day then Im off for 2 days! I feel like Im working out to get to the weekend so I dont have to

lwcarbmomma 04-21-2006 01:16 AM

Well, I'm a newbie, but I suppose I'll join in! :)

Yesterday (4/19) I went for a walk with my family andc played with my dd at the playground (about a 1/2 hour), then I went and took a weight lifting class at my local gym (1 hour).

Today (4/20) I took a cardio kickboxing class for an hour, and almost died, lol! I can't believe how out of shape I have gotten...I used to take this class 4-5 times a week!!! Nonetheless, I've been sitting in the same spot since I got home cause I DON'T WANNA MOVE!!!! YIKES!

So, that's my exercise so far. :)

bnbsmommy1 04-24-2006 09:00 AM

good job, girls!!

Robin: my ipod has to be charged every three days. It ran out on me once while I was in the middle of my walk and it was a struggle to walk without it!! I swear that thing is the ONE thing that has kept me going :D

today: 3 miles :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

RobinW 04-24-2006 09:36 AM

No, I cant go very far without it either. I discovered tho, that its one particular song thats making it fizzle out. It's Smooth by Rob Thomas and Santana. I tested it 2x yesterday after charging it, and each time after that particular song, it make a static sound and quit. Its all good now

hockeyfan7 04-24-2006 02:55 PM

Saturday walked around the flea market for 4 hours.

Today -- 65 minutes treadmill and 20 minutes strength training.

M&Gmom 04-24-2006 03:55 PM

I think I'll up my exercise this week and see if that helps with the scale not budging.

RobinW 04-24-2006 04:29 PM

50 min cardio, and lower body workout

M&Gmom 04-24-2006 05:49 PM

hockeyfan7 04-25-2006 05:43 PM

30 minutes treadmill

30 minutes elliptical

20 minutes strength training

M&Gmom 04-25-2006 05:56 PM

Just got back from Curves. Too cold for a walk. And I have a terrible headache....TOM is here.

RobinW 04-25-2006 08:08 PM

Goodness!! I bow down to you ladies who can do more than 10 min on the eliptical!!!! That sucker just knocks me out!! :faint: My gf has me doing 5min at a time....then I get off....that thing hurts everything

lwcarbmomma 04-25-2006 11:50 PM

I forgot to post my exercise yesterday, so I'll do that and todays:

Yesterday (4/24)
45 minutes circuit training

Today (4/25)
55 minutes cardio kickboxing class

tammy1214 04-26-2006 09:31 AM

well this week I have been bad...I have not exercised. I was just feeling like poo. Then one of the wise ladies here clued me in to the fact that potasium loss was probably the problem so I have purchased a multivitamin for low carbers and home by weeks end I am feeling more like taking it on.
In the meantime I am just trying to get extra steps in through the day.

hockeyfan7 04-26-2006 04:39 PM

Robyn -- just do 10 minutes on the elliptical if that's all you can do. Next week, do 11 minutes. The week after that, do 12. In no time, you'll be doing a lot more. When I started, I could only do 10 minutes on resistance level one. Now I can do up to 60 minutes on resistance level 4.

35 minutes treadmill for today along with 30 minutes elliptical and 30 minutes of strength training upper body for me.

RobinW 04-26-2006 05:17 PM

Susan....I managed 15 min today :cb: Only because I forced myself to slow down, and imagined pushing my legs thru water. It worked  I still think its just evil

so...15 min elliptical, 20 min treadmill....I was soaking wet when I was done. Treadmill 3.4mph and a 7 incline with 10 incline in 3 min increments

Upper body workout
and 15 min of the ab class....couldnt go the whole 30min.

Almost forgot, went for a 45 min walk this morning to soak up the sunshine :sunny:

lwcarbmomma 04-27-2006 12:44 AM
