Default Do you look at other women?

Today I was out to lunch with the boss and the other two guys I work with. There was a little waitress working at the restaurant that I was amazed by. She had such a nice little figure. Big busted, tiny little waist and reasonable hips. I just stared in envy. THAT's what I want! I don't think I ever had that tiny of a waistline, but other than that, I used to look somewhat similar.

Anyway I mentioned it to the guys, "Look at that girl over there she has such a nice figure." The guys were really reluctant to be seen turning to look. They did eventually look but they were trying to be subtle about it. My boss when he finally saw her said "Wow" or something and then knocked his silverware onto the floor. I laughed and told him "That was subtle". He said "That's why I don't look."

I said "all guys look, unless they are gay and then they are looking at guys".

But I felt a little strange to be the one pointing her out to the guys. But I was looking in envy, not for the reasons they would be looking.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience or if you notice women too, that you'd like to look more like?

Oh yeah I look at some of the girls wishing I looked more like them.

I think it's natural. I consider it keeping my eye on the prize. It reminds me of how I would like to look sometime this decade.

I'm constantly checking out other girls-- not in a sexual way, just in a "Huh. How about that" sort of way. It helps to try to figure out what the norm is for your area, I guess.

I do all the time. and some times it is to see how I am seen and some times it is ienvy or just plain how on hearth can that little figure hold all that up, or holy cow are those real??? (thinking when they get old where will they be)

it is not a sexual thing but curiousity, amazement, admiration and a bit of envy.

Men do look no matter how, but some times it is because their reaction expecially with some one that theyd o not wish to offend, or make a fool out of them selves in from of they will pretent not to notice. enjnoy his dumb reaction. it is too funny.

So far I've not found anyone MY "build" in a size I want to be. Know what I mean? I don't have the hips to look like THOSE people and I don't have the boobs to look like those others. That type of thing. And yes, my hips will be a problem But yup, I've looked and like the others it's not a sexual thing.

YES.
I do admire women with a nice figure. Especially when they are older and still have a nice shape. Then I wonder is in natural or does she work at it?

I've done it both ways -- there's the Wow I want to look like that some day and then there's the Thank Goodness I don't look like that any longer. My DH looks all the time -- I tease him about it.

He paid me a compliment a few weeks ago -- sort of -- we were in Wal-Mart and he said honey, I've noticed that you aren't the biggest woman in Wal-Mart these days. I had to laugh. My DH is not known for possessing ANY tact.

I'm relieved to know I'm not weird! I am forever looking at women and thinking to myself "now THAT'S how I want to look."

Thanks I'm glad to know I'm not "weird" too. It was the reactions of the guys that I was embarrassed by I guess. It was actually kind of funny. I said "Wow look at that girl, she has such a nice figure, big bust and tiny little waist." The guys didn't even turn to look. I couldn't believe it! They didn't turn. Then one of them made it clear to me why they weren't looking "Yeah let's all turn around at once and stare!" He was funny. Then later when the boss saw her and knocked his silverware on the floor I felt a little less weird for being the one to notice. But it did feel strange to be pointing out good looking girls to guys! We actually had a pretty fun conversation after that though. The girl had on a kind of bunched up looking bra underneath her tight sweater. She would have looked better with a better bra, one that didn't quite so obvious under the clothes, and one of the guys commented about the patterns of flowers or something they could see under the shirt. like maybe she had on a colored garment rather than white. I figured it was just one of those bras that has white lace and various patterns. One of the guys wondered if it was a bathing suit top, and I said no...

It went on and on, then the boss said "Let's ask her, tell her Sherry wants to know..." Yes it got a little strange. But we had fun.

I went to a wedding where the bride had huge ones and she was no small gal either. and she wore a strapless number that on a small woman one would have been wondering how it stayed up and on this gal you could see it going lower and lower especially when she danced I was with a bunch of tough guys and DH and i kept saying Oh My God they are comming out!!! I was teased horribly about that and especially when my DH's boss kept tesing me about how I could not keep my eyes off them Well if you could have seen her she would keep coming over to the table and hang them out to dry right in front of all the guys we all just died!! so Yea it can get a bit funny.

What a good question! I do look in admiration. Someone at about the size I want to be that is curvy...it just gives me a good idea about how maybe I'll look. And it's definately not a sexual thing! Lol...I can admit when a woman is attractive, and the ones I don't think are attractive.

I'm really bad about watching other women. I'll nudge my husband at Walmart and point someone out saying "I wish I looked like that." Trust me, that is not a set up for poor DH. He can respond with "she's really pretty" or even "she's got nice boobs" without being in the doghouse. I'm not the jealous type.

I'm just like you LaurAnn, I'm always pointing hairstyles and stuff out to my husband. Asking him if he likes this or that about someone. I also love to look at the different clothes and accessories that women wear, ecspecially now that I can fit into most of them
