I bought some "reduced carb" spaghetti at Big Lots the other day. It wasn't bad, but I think it had me stalling for a few days due to the extra water I was retaining.
I have had other low carb noodles made out of soy and they are AWFUL. They tasted like cardboard. These you found are from Tofu, though, might not be bad.
I tried tofu noodles...I thought they tasted like thin, wet, cardboard strips. Might have been different with spaghetti sauce or something over them. This was in like a onion soup type thing.
I have heard great things about them! They are more chewy than regular pasta and are supposed to be better in chineese dishes than Italian, but apparently they have a good flavor. I've been looking for them here but haven't found them locally. If you find them I'll be anxious to know what you think!
Im going to see if I can find them today. Ive read alot on them last night after I found that thread. Seems folks either love them or hate them, no inbetween...hopefully they will be around here.
Well I wish I had known anyone wanted some. The ones I had, I recently threw away. They were awful and tasteless. The reduced carb ones are pretty good though.

I must agree. We buy most new products we find and so far the noodles are disgusting.
I love the low carb tortilla shells. Those are awsome.
