Default New here....

I found 3fc a couple of weeks back and love it!
I am happy to have found a forum for people doing atkins.
I started out on meds and eating 900 cals.........crzy and I was starving. So I went back to what I know works!
Soooooo here I am. I am doing pretty good, snacks are difficult for me, any thoughts?

I am new here also. I am a mother of one and have just begun my weight loss journey. I saw you were looking for a buddy ~ me too. Suggestion for the snacks...hmm...well I'm doing weight watchers - the 100 calorie packs you can buy at the store are awesome, they have like chex mix types, crackers, and muffins..etc. - I enjoy fruit so many times I eat an apple or banana. Congrats on your loss! I am excited and on my way, today is the start of the 3rd week of my lifestyle change.

Jen, if you're not on induction, nuts are a good snack. Cheese sticks and jerky. Some people like pork rinds, the only kind I can eat are the microwavable kind. As with all things, check the carb count first

and come join us in the weekly chat thread

These are great snacks BUT not if your are on Atkins Too many carbs in all those snacks.......for atkins friendly snacks, try, cheese string, or just cheese, boiled eggs, celery stuffed with cream cheese or cheese whiz, warmed cucumber slices with dabs of cream cheese ontop....if your not on induction and looking for sweet stuff, sf jello works great, check the recipe section for alot more ideas

and.... its nice to have you here

Welcome Aboard! I like all of the above listed snacks, but I like using veggies and fruit for snacks too.
