  • I am doing good so far!
    Yesterday I had my homemade low carb chilli, another low carb dish called Javlins meatballs' (came from a local bar..meatballs with cream of mushroom soup basically)
    and a few crab rangoon things from the chinnese shop
    (they were pretty low carb, a bit high in calories, but low carb)

    and some coffee and a glass of wine..( I cheated, I know its a no no in induction, but I havnt had any probs with it affecting my weight yet..not yet anyways..)

    and a small lil salad with some cheese and ranch..

    and a handful of nuts

    and yup I think that was it

    Today I had some more of the javlin's meatballs, some more nuts, some coffee, a squirt of my kid's easy cheese stuff..not the healthiest..but man that stuff is so good..lol and it was just a lil squirt
    and a small salad
    oh and a few strips of bacon for breakfest

    yesterday I actually had the chilli for breakfest..my homemade chilli is so good that sometimes I just wake up craving it..lol I cant help it..
    luckly I was alone in the house and no one had to witness me eatting chilli for breakfest..but I aint going to lie..IT WAS GOOD..LOL

    I havnt had too many sweet cravings and the amazing thing is I am heading up on PMS time..I am a lil afraid of the last few days of it..which is when I would like die without chocolate..I know if I crack one day..I will still live and survive and carry on and so forth..lol but so far..on probabbly day one of pms here I really am not craving sweets..
    I luckly have been on a cheese trip and cheese is something I can have..so I am all good there

    lunch: chicken breast

  • B:special k lc cereal
    L:salad
    S:chicken w/brocc.
    W:at least 100 ozs. (have to flush system after this weekend)
    E:20 minutes on bike and 30 reverse stomach crunches
  • I lost another pound and a half, I'm half way to my Valentine's Day goal! And I did it in about 2 weeks, so I'm ON track for meeting it assuming I can lose at the same rate for the next two weeks. (I know my marker shows only 5 pounds but it is actually 5.5 toward VDay goal.)
  • I just thought that I would let you all know that the doc confirmed it, I AM pregnant!!! I am very excited!!!
  • Congratulations Amber!!! That is awesome! Is this gonna be your first baby? I am so happy for you! I have 3 boys and being pregnant with each of them was a wonderful time in my life....

    My husband took me out this weekend...and I ate carbs galore! But i enjoyed celebrating our 6th month anniversary I am up 3 pounds but I dont wanna change my weight tracker...I will probably get back down to 155 by Wednesday

    D: 2 burritos~low carb
    S: left over taco meat

  • Yes, this will be my first baby, so I am hoping for any advice or words of wisdom. I am in the process of finding a new doctor, because mine is not helping at all!!! All she told me is that I am pregnant. That's all. Oh, and she handed me some pamphlets!! I don't even know when my next appointment should be or what my due date is or how far along I am!!! So, I'm a little frustrated. So any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    I am still eating healthy and exercising. I'm not going to go crazy eating for two.

    Just try to ENJOY your pregnancy and the beautiful being that is growing inside of you

    Here's what doctors use to determine the due date before an ultrasound is done:

    If your doctor is not an OB doctor then ask friends in your area who they prefer...and go from there There is also the option of a midwife if you prefer a home birth

  • Thank you bnbsmommy1!! According to that website my due date is Oct. 9th. I'm so excited. So, is it ok to wait a couple of weeks before I go to the doctor again? We switched to my husband's insurance since I got laid off and we won't get cards for 10-15 days. Oh, and by the way I got a new job this morning. It's perfect!!! Pretty much the same pay, but absolutely perfect schedule & hours!!! I'm so excited. I start on Thursday.
  • Amber, Good luck w/it all!! I had my last 2 w/a midwife at a hospital. I loved them!! So much help and cared about me so much and being healthy. CONGRATS on the job!!

    Tomorrow's Food

    S: hmmmm, i don't know maybe some chicken & broccoli
    W: at least 100ozs (got in 120 ozs today)
    E: 15 minutes on the bike, 30 reverse stomach crunches (i tried to do he 20 minutes and just couldn't do it. after being off for a week it was hard to come back and up it)

    Today was a good day, here's hoping Wednesday will be also.
  • Normally when you first are pregnant, the doctor sees you once a month, so until you get close to goal, that is about what you should expect. It is usually once a week or every two weeks when you get close to due date.
