I've heard of a number of people doing that who love pizza and are on Atkins. I love pizza, too, but I could never pick the toppings off without eating the crust. I'm just weak, though!

Tomato sauce does have carbs, but it's definitely better to eat the toppings and some sauce than the whole piece of pizza. I looked at a jar of tomato sauce I have, and there are four carbs in 1/4 cup. It seems like there would be less sauce than that on a few pieces of pizza, so it's really not too bad carb-wise.
