Leenie: have a nice day!

Well, I made it through that day. Now millions more to go. But with having bet DH...I've GOT to stay OP no matter what! It was nice to see the scale go down a pound already even if it is just water weight. Hopefully the REST goes down just as fast so I don't have to change my siggie weight. lol. At least...until it's BELOW what my siggie says. Anyway, yesterday I got the garden weeded, the tomatoes and peppers are planted (but I knew it was going to rain so held off on the rest of the stuff that are seeds). And my flowers are all in also. So they're all enjoying the TONS of rain we got. BLECH!! It is of course still gloomy and rainy and wouldn't you know tonight we're supposed to go to a baseball game? That's ok....I'm not a huge baseball fan anyway so it can be cancelled Hope you all have a great day!!

Brenda~ good going on staying op yesterday!! One day at a time!!

I made it thru day 2 with no cheats and more water in. Ive had a 3 lb loss this morning. That balloon face is gone!! I know its only water, but I feel so much better already. Its like that layer of stiffness is lifting.

Spent the day yesterday gardening, and scraping and painting patches on the house. Got my beans, peas and squash in, and another row of lettuce. Today will be going over the painted patches with paint again, and maybe a walk. I'll see what my knee has to say about it If not, I might dust off the bike and haul my big rear up on that!

Have a great day Ladies!

Good morning, all. I wish some of you intrepid gardeners would come to my house and plant. I keep meaning to pot some cilantro, because I use a ton of it and $1.29 a bunch is highway robbery in the summer. Somehow I never get around to it!

I'm discouraged today because I weighed in and discovered I haven't lost anything in 10 days. Nothing. Nada. And I haven't cheated and I've been exercising and drinking water as well. I don't use the Atkins bars or anything, so I'm at a bit of a loss, because I had wanted to be down to 209 by early June. Alas! I'll hang on, but I admit it was a disappointment!

Do any of you have recommendations for snacks that don't need to be refrigerated? I'm going away on business and won't have access to a fridge.

Have a great day, Everyone!

Robin: Congrats on the loss. I can't wait to get the rest of my garden planted. I think beans, peas and radishes. Not a very big one but all of what we eat. lol

Reveille: Don't get discouraged with the non-weight loss. I remember those days well and everyone would encourage me to keep going...that there would be a whoosh coming. So....keep going! You'll get a loss soon!!

Well, the dentist visit is taken care of. Look ma...no cavities Went to the store and found a cute counted cross stitch I'm going to make for my GS co-leader. Hopefully I can get that done before our end of year meeting (6/1). It's not that big so I'll just have to work VERY hard on it during the day. of course...I've also go to finish working on the afghan I'm making for DH's sister for her wedding. But that's not until March or something like that. Plenty of time (and I'll need it. lol). off to go figure out what to have with my salad for lunch.
