I have been on a "binge" all week. I guess I really am a carb addict. Why can't I get back on track? I had been having no problems since December! But since last week I just can't do it anymore.
Every morning this week I think - today is the day. What is wrong with me?

It's ok barbmarie, just take it one step at a time. Don't beat yourself up over the bad days, everyone has them and when you realize that this is a lifestyle change you just have to know that everday won't go the way it should. Don't give up on getting back on track! Just keep telling yourself that today is gonna be the day you return to your plan and then DO IT. Everytime you're tempted, remind yourself that you're just trying to go one day without cheating. Take it one day at a time and before you know it you'll have gone a week eating the way you should. I believe in you and you should too!

Thanks Turtle. You seem to be doing well this challenge. I don't think anyone is as gung ho as they were for the one after all the NewYears Resolutions!!
I went to Sams today to stock up supplies. Actually looking forward to it now, But staying far away from the scale.

P.S. Just had a case of Girl Scout cookies delivered. Gonna freeze them fast to keep me out of them!!!

Just thought I'd ask.... is this challenge for St. Patrick's Day of 2005, or 2006?

This is such a tough time of year. Girl Scout cookies followed by Jelly Beans. Oh I LOVE Jelly Beans!!!! How come there is no holiday celebrated with sardines or cow's tongue? See I would do GREAT on those challenges.

Boo Hoo Hoo.....Goodnight all.

I hear you about those Girl Scout cookies, Kim. There are boxes and boxes and boxes in my house right now and every time I pass them they call my name. I'm resisting but it's definitely not easy. And my mind keeps telling me "But they're here so rarely. You won't have the chance to have them again for a while. Go ahead, a box of Thin Mints won't hurt." lol. Darn Girl Scouts!

Well, it's St. Patrick's Day, meaning the challenege is oooooover. I weighed in at 178 this morning, meaning I lost 5 lbs this month. Not my goal of 7 lbs, but still not so bad. How did everybody else do?

I'm a little late getting back to this challenge, but I lost 5 lbs. I'm not unhappy I only lost half. It's all good. Congrats to everyone who did the challenge. Let's plan another...

Marie, good idea...not to eat the tree, LOL ...Arbor Day does sound good to me...April 29th.
How about it, and then we can even plant a tree or plant.
