Howdy all you lovely ladies!!! I finally got a good nights sleep (thanks to Tylenol PM and being so flippin tired!)!! Not happy with the way the scale went up...but figure with TOM going to hit me it's bound to be that. So WI might not be as exciting as I was hoping. But any loss is a good loss I have to go run errands for DH after work today. I'm supposed to find a hunting umbrella that attaches to the tree.THREE days before deer hunting and I'm supposed to be able to find one of those things? What a funny, funny man! I plan on calling places before driving there!! And only IF they say they have it (and if they say they do they BETTER have it when I get there) then I'll drive. See, it takes 20 minutes to get to the mall and I HATE driving to the mall. I'm not a mall-aholic. Could do w/out it really. And this sporting goods store? MAYHEM EVERYDAY!! It's nuts! Anyway, I'm still managing to be OP so WOOHOO!!!

Good morning ladies.

Well I don't get it....I have been completely OP for the entire week so far and the darn scale isn't budging! I know, I know....it will but still...usually it moves right away. Oh well. I will just keep on trying.

Very tired and cranky today. My bursitis is killing me and my IBS is driving me nuts. Course the gastroenterologist isn't in on Thursdays and my orthopedic surgeon I'm sure will just send me for PT. Oh woe is me today.

Getting my nails done today though....that will be a good thing. I had to cancel my last appt because of the training class I was in so they are not looking pretty! Can't wait to get them cut so I can type better

Brenda: Glad someone got a good nights sleep! Good luck with the umbrella. If the store says they have it have them hold it at the desk for you so that you can be sure it will be there when you get there.

Good Morning ladies!!!

I am working on my 3rd day back OP and feeling good, it seems to get easier everyday, the only thing that worries me is the weekend, but I am just gonna do it!!!!! Gym today and that should be good. Yesterday we went and signed the papers for our home equity loan so on Monday I will get to pay off all of our bills, so that will be nice and take my stress level DOOOWWWNNNNN!! way down! I hate bills but I love to shop so it is not a good combo! ahhahahahahaha

B- Yes always best to call first and have them hold it for you. You are doing great being OP, what an inspiration!!

Brenda- thanks for the Pm, you have no idea what you may have gotten yourself into and I heard on the tv this morning that a man in texas now has a web site where you can shoot exotic game on his ranch from your computer...he has a 22 hooked up to a site that you can control from your computer....I was horrified ( ducks in a barrel as it were) but DH laughed and said 'shooting exotic animals with a 22 is like me shooting you with a BB gun"

Leenie-we need to invent a no carb coffee....wait, if we're going to do that, lets invent a no carb lasagna instead

Jane- ooohhh, that IBS is a killer...DH has had it for 17 years...they scope him and tell him theres no damage and can't figure out why he feels so bad- it sounds like his tummy has a boiling pot of water in it all the time....hope you feel better

TG- if youre anything like me that home equity stuff can be killer...I paid off all my cards and then I turned into Dorry the fish from finding Nemo "HEY LOOK! I'VE GOT A BUNCH OF EMPTY CREDIT CARDS! JUST KEEP SHOPPING!SHOPPING! SHOPPING!"

well, one of the teachers I work with is taking a cake decorating class.....and its a he. So yesterday I walk into the lounge to a 3 tier, wedding cake with fondant frosting COMPLETELY covered with beautiful pink frosting peonies....and a sign that said "please have some"........I didnt ( oh yeah) but last night I dreamed I snuck into the lounge and ate the whole thing....I could actually taste it...now if I could just figure out how to dream eat all my cheats!

Leenie: Wake up dearie....it's the afternoon!!! Do you find that the coming of TOM makes you more tired also? Usually during TOM I'm dead beat!! I surely wish I could totally skip TOM from now on. But not sure I want the hot flashes. Can't say anything about mood swings cuz I already have that

Wondering why the blankety-blank scale won't move and why should I bother being OP if it's going to stay at that stupid weight and WHEN can I expect it to go down again It'll go down. Started out when I called they had like 27 or so left..when I got there it was like 12!!! I made the dude open the box to make sure everything was in there and that it was big enough for 2 people before leaving w/it

TG: Congrats on the staying OP. Glad the stress level will be going down. Don't make the mistake I did though....and realise hey...empty credit card--CHARGE IT!! lol@repeating what Marie said...sounds like we're a bunch of shop-aholics..but honestly I DON'T like to shop (did I mention everything was mostly DH's stuff being charged??). So just beware! It's an easy trap to fall into.

Marie: I LOVE that movie!!!! I had to go out and buy it!! DH rolls his eyes when I sit and watch that. The girls sit and sing along to it hmm...no carb lasagna. no carb hot cocoa. no carb FRENCH FRIES!!! Just remember...baby steps!!

Well, I went and deposited the GS troop profit then promptly took myself off the account. I then went and tried to find out why the chiropractor billed me. They've no clue so will be calling w/an answer. Then went to get an appt to get my car fixed (it takes it to the max that when the stop light/sign says "stop" or is red...it stops--engine dies. Of course, can't idle it starting it up either.). I couldn't open the shop door (locked) even though it said open. GRRR. So went home. Called the GS service unit manager and told her to delete me from the troop list for that troop. Then called the Cookie Cubboard manager and told her that they would notify her when they get a new cookie mom. Then called the shop and actually got through and made an appointment for my car to be brought in (1st day of December). Hopefully THAT doesn't cost that much. So now I'm chillin trying to figure out what to make for supper. Had chicken about 3 times already this week I'm REALLY looking forward to turkey (and turkey leftovers!!!) .

Well, been a lazy day here. Had a dr appt first thing this morning. The baby is still measuring further along, so she said that you never know when she may come. She will be measuring 40 weeks 2 days before Christmas if she keeps going like she has the past 2 months. She could just be a big baby though! She's scheduling another ultrasound in 2 weeks, just to keep track of her weight and how she is developing. Said today that the Ultrasound last week looked great and that she looks like a very healthy baby! That made me feel better. Today I had lost 4 pounds since 2 weeks ago. So that means that in total I have lost 2 since I got pregnant Oh well, I'll take a loss anytime! Well, ya'll have a great day, and I'll try to check back in a little later. Going to take a nap until DH gets home!

OOOH ladies, I got a migraine at work and came home, then I felt like barfing and wanted to take some ibuprofen so I ate some saltines to settle my tummy took the ibuprofen and then took a nap and i woke up and feel human, I only was having a fit cause of the saltines but I figured in emergency times, just as long as that is it. DH sayd a couple of saltines won't kill you, and i said i signed a contract. But i think i won't go crazy over it.

OOOOOOHHHHHHH ladies awh yes the pit falls of shopping, i am not 1/2 as bad as DH, before i got the loan I cut up all the credit cards and removed his name from the accounts, no more credit cards, I also set it up so that after they are paid the account closes. Thank dog! I was smart this time!!! I gotta learn to buy with cash!

Lisa: So exciting!!! Threaten your DH that if he's not careful you'll have the baby on opening day of deer hunting. I did Of course, youngest was born on Thanksgiving day so he wasn't happy about that either. Still deer hunting ya know. Keep us informed!!!

TG: Don't sweat the saltines. You obviously needed something to keep the rest of your stomach contents in so just chalk it up to a blurp in time and don't even count it. You're smarter than me. I've got 2 credit cards w/0 balances that I just switched to a 0 interest credit card and haven't ended them yet. Making sure the 0 balance one isn't too good to be true. It's also got most of our home equity on it so most of our debt will be 0 % interest free for a year. Now if only I could start making a SERIOUS dent in that amount I'd be happy!! I need to sit down and figure out HOW to make it deplete while NOT making us go further in the poor house. Good luck!!

One camoflauge umbrella is now flapping in the breeze. DH was PO'D cuz he was up in the tree stand and it "broke" so he tossed it down in disgust. I picked it up and "fixed it" and of course now it works just fine The wonders of us women, eh??
