Hi Gang I am back!

Well the doc cleared me to Drive! YIPPEE!!!

Actually everything is good. (Rose to answer your question, on Oct. 25th I had a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy for Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, Heavy Bleeding and PCOS) The incision is fine, And I am cleared for everything except lifting, heavy house work and exercise other than walking.

He wants me to think about taking Depo Lupron Shots for 4-6 months. these shots force me into menopause.. but I was on them 10 years ago and i was a wreck! They have things that can help temper the reactions now.. but still. I am going to think about it for a while. Although it will kill any remaing microscopic endo.... I really have to think and research it somemore!

Brenda - I have 11 brownies this year! And they are the cutest things! I missed the last meeting because of my surgery, so they made this gorgeous picture frame (one of those with the collage of pictures) with pictures of them and in the biggest slot there is a note with all their signatures. It was teh sweetest thing!

GET THIS! I just got a copy of my blood work from my physical last month.....the ketones came back abnormal!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never turned that damn stick purple and NOW it shows up!

Karen - Good for you checking on those shots before you agree. I am frightened of any hormones being injected into me. I had a tumor removed in 2000 and I had to be on hormone shots for a period of time before hand. I went through such depression for months I cried a lot and was miserable. As soon as they stopped the hormones I was fine. Good Luck in your research! My neighbor (34 years) had a total hysterectomy last winter and she did wonderful in her recovery and feels great. She did it for cancerous reasons - but doesn't regret anypart of her decision at all.

Lisa - I wish I had seen your PM earlier this weekend. That Rhogam shot is nothing! Had mine yesterday too! Wanted to clarify for you though that the reason you get the shot really has nothing to do with THIS pregnancy. It's so that in a future pregnancy your body doesn't immediately try to kill off a possible pregnancy - for the exact reasons you mentioned in the differences in blood types. Both my girls have been A positive - so it's good that I've had Rhogam shots in all my pregnancies...had I lived 50 years ago I might only have had one child and then many miscarriages. God is good!

Great to see so many people on here today and that everyone is doing well!!!

B- I forgot that on Sunday DH and i are going out to celebrate our anniversary too, I am going to try to stay OP but I don't know what we are planning. So if all else fails maybe Sat/Sun for you and Fri/Sat for me!! ahahahahahaa
