Leenie: Sorry to hear about the boss. It sucks having them there eh? You're lucky!!! I have to work right across from my wicked witch boss. The NICE boss sits by herself behind the wicked witch. I dream of either getting a different job or the office moving and having a space to myself

Well, no work for me today. Oldest DD got braces on yesterday and they're hurting her. I'm a sucker so told her she could stay home TODAY only. I'm going to be buying soft foods for her to eat & snack on. Yogurt and applesauce. But that's all I can think of that's soft. lol Pudding & jello. Just remembered those. lol

Leenie: Bosses......ggggrrrrrrrr

Brenda: I still get ghost pains from the elastics I had when I had braces. Gives me the chills thinking about it! Can she take Advil or something....that should help

Eating was atrocious yesterday even had mac and cheese for dinner

I must get back on track, I must get back on track...she says clicking her ruby slippers together.

Good morning ladies!!!

I was OP yesterday but dang the getting off sugar headache was enough to kill me!!! I just kept saying to myself, it is only couple days and you will be all better!! The more I think about it coming off of sugar is almost just as bad as any other drug, still feel all the withdrawls syptoms, moody, weepy, muscle aches and head ache, sluggish. Why do I even eat it?? Well I guess cause i am addicted. ahahahahaha To ensure my success i made DH take all the good candy to his work and he left the kids all the crappy sweet tarts and things like that (since I hate that kind, I Only love Chocolate!!!) Well enugh about candy, I woke up to feeling a little better today no headache yet, so maybe I am coming though the fog. Yippeeeee!!!!!!

Got a home equity loan to pay off alot of bills and that is gonna save us about 800.00 a month in bills, that is gonna help so much!!! and take a huge load off my back!!

B- You are Da BOMB!!!! Yeah 2 days OP I know you can do it!!!!

Jane: I know you can do it girl!!

Hi Lennie.....eeewh yuck boss' !!!

Have a great day ladies!!!

OOOOOHHH I forgot to tell you ladies this... I went back on the 20 grams with 3 cups of salad or 1 cup veggies / 2 cups salad, and it is amazing how quick I felt better. VERY IMPORTANT to remember veggies!! They are good for you and fill you up fast!!

Thought I would give a reminder....I figured if I forgot that part then others might have too!!!

MARIE - Big thanks for the Tums update, I knew it wasn't going to be good. I don't have to use them often and probably will use them less often now. LOL.

I stayed up way late watching election returns, no snacking, no Halloween candy at all, two days in a row, yeah me. I have to push the water more.

One downside of being home so much this morning is I see some serious housecleaning needs to be done. Right now I'd rather knit, so I started on my sister's baby present. Keeps me from eating but allows me to drink lots.

BRENDA - Good luck with the braces, hopefully it will go quickly.

JANE - There was MAc and Cheese in our house last night too, but it was for DD who does not have a weight problem, she doesn't eat enough to begin with and moves around too much for whatever she does eat to stick, ummm, a clue to maintenance. Click those ruby slippers whenever you think of pasta, think cheese instead.

TG - You are right about the veggies, I had to listen to the know it alls at lunch yesterday on how Atkins is only meat. What a bunch of experts, luckily supervisor is on Atkins though on maintanence so he had the meatballs and sauce no pasta at lunch. I had the salad and tuna from the salad bar, it was great.

I have a plan for today, steak for dinner, peppers and mushrooms roasted for some color, I have all three colors of peppers plus green. Very autumn looking.

Back to Knit 2 purl 2

Jane: glad you're not here in person rubbing...I'd have to do some serious questioning!

TG: Congrats on getting the bills paid off. I know how much that always bugs me. We have a home equity AND a credit card. Told DH that once we get my car fixed, Xmas presents bought then the remainder of his overtime pay checks are going towards those to pay them off. Glad you're starting to feel better!! I love my salads even if I do make them too big. I've got to learn to make them smaller. Maybe have one for lunch ya think? Interesting thought!

Liza: I never could get the hang of knitting. Crochet I can do. I should clean this house also. I haven't touched it in 2 weeks and definitely looks it!!! It's amazing how nice it had looked when the whole family chipped in to clean it.

Well, it's off to the store I go. Have to get oldest DD some soft foods for today (and maybe tomorrow's lunch). Plus I've run out of lettuce and peppers so need to get that

Hello ladies!

Haven't been around much lately. Still trying to follow Atkins and maintaining. I'll never catch up with everyone here though! Haven't even been to the boards since Oct. 18 according to the thingy at the top!

What exciting things have I missed?

Let's see, here, fractured ankle is finally on the mend. That kept me off the treadmill for about 5 weeks or so, but then I still have another 4 weeks before I can excersice at any vigorious rate. No due to my foot.

I decided I had reached enough of a weight loss that I would treat myself to something I wanted for about 8 yrs. It just got to the point that I really needed to do something for my self esteem. About 1 1/2 yrs ago I started talking to Dr.'s to find one I liked and trusted. I found one in Las Vegas through a recommendation of a friend and had seen his "work" on a few women.

I had augmentation done 2 weeks ago! I'm so happy with the results! You can't tell they aren't real, but, boy do I know. Down to one pain pill a day now, after I get home from work, but still very limited on what I can and can't do for about another 3-4 weeks.

I hope I haven't offended anyone with this post, but I just wanted to share what I considered to be happy news for me. I'm not a shy person and I'm not embarassed by my decision at all.

Morti: no offended by your post at all!! I am, as Marie, very curious. After i get to goal weight i am going to get a tummy tucL (OMG after 2 c-sections I need one!!) and I am considering a lift on those puppies at the same time!! I am not a face plastic surgery person but dang those chicks on The Swan look good after those tummy tucks and boobs!

B- i have always ate huge salads, i never worry to much about my veggie intake unless it is too low.

Sugar: ooooo I love salad bar!!! Most of the people who complain about Atkins are either not educated, or complaining cause they can't stick to it.

Hello Miss marie!!!

Did it hurt? Yes, even going over the muscle. Went in through the nipple so you can't hardly see the scar. Went from what had diminissed to a small C ... very small C cup to a full D. I love them! I can buy pretty tops now w/o wearing a bra all the time. They feel firm, but are already softening up some. You can't tell by lookig at them they aren't real .... they don't look like a cantalope cut in half and placed on my chest like some do.

Cost .... I got a great deal $4250.00, usually around $5000 + in this area in Palm Springs and more in Ventura area.

Took about an hour for the operation and I went to lunch 3 hours later, but Took it easy the rest of the day. The next day, they took off the bandages and I finally got to see the girls! I couldn't believe they were mine!

I have to were form fitting sports bras for 6 weeks and then can go back to regular bras ( I went to the outlet and I have 8 new pretty ones just waiting to be worn!) Can't lift anyting over a pound for 2-3 weeks and adding little weight after that. I have to take vitamin E the rest of my life, but, hey, small price to pay.

Ask any questions. As I said, I'm not embarassed about it at all. My girlsfriends all ask to see and touch and I don't care. The husbands, well, they require Danny's permission and his being there when the see. I didn't even teel my girls until it was done.

Going home for the night. talk to you all tomorrow.

Laura: Ok. I've gotta admit I can never figure out why people have that done. But being a woman with what I feel is TOO much I've not that problem to worry about. What I'd like to have done is some taken OFF and then lifted up. I hate looking like a cow that hasn't been milked!!! Dang that even SOUNDS gross!! Congrats on getting what you want

Marie:

TG: Maybe a tummy tuck is something I should look into. That and the inside fat on my thighs sucked out. But OHHH it sounds so painful. And I watched it on tv and they're NOT gentle at all! I don't think I could stand the pain even if I could afford it.

Yeah!! Another day of being OP. Oldests' mouth still bothers her, but not too bad. Maybe I should have her swish with salt water for the "cuts" the brackets are making. And maybe it'd help with the soreness. I'll have to run that by her. I'm back to being tired all the time again. Not sure if that's due to the carbs getting out of my system or if I just am not eating enough carbs. I'm back to my normal menus. Tonight had 3 hot dogs and a huge bowl of salad. It probably came to 3-4 cups of lettuce, onions, cheese, radishes and sunflower seeds. Probably 2 cups of lettuce alone. I never measure. Maybe I should? For lunch I had a LC muffin. Oh, had a smaller salad. About 1 C lettuce and a little bit of pepper, radish and cheese. Maybe 2 C total. Breakfast was my 2 eggs and 4 sausage links. That's usually what I eat for supper. Some type of meat and that amount of salad. Breakfast is the same but been eating more for lunch. So maybe that'll help me perk up. *yawn* but I guess not enough for tonight so I'm off to bed
