Good Morning Brenda: Hope that you are feeling better. Good Luck staying on plan! I know you can do it!!!!!!!

Jane and Leenie: Happy Belated Birthday to you both!

I feel so lazy this morning! I slept in yesterday and then took a nap in the afternoon. Looks like the more sleep I get, the more sleep I want Me and DH went out to dinner last night and shopping. We had a great time. We were looking at baby stuff, and couldn't resist this one little outfit! It's sooooooo cute! This is the first thing we have bought for the baby! It's getting more and more exciting now! Hope everyone has a great day....I'm going to grab some breakfast and try to wake up! I'll check in a little later this afternoon!!!

Good Morning,

Brenda LOL, lets see how long it lasts ... okay you and me !! Lets make a bet or challenge... Both of us will be OP this week, and next monday the 16th we will both be here saying we did GREAT!!! Shake on it

Lisa, I'm excited for you. I remember when I was decorating the baby's room, NOW that made me excited. I didn't do anything fancy, got some old Raggedy Ann posters, plaques from EBAY and hung them in her room, it turned out so cute and that got me soooooooo excited. I love buying infant clothes. Enjoy !!!!

Well the pig fest for the weekend is ended, now I can get back to what I need to do.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Love you !!

Oh Leenie I don't know about you on your birthday but I had the "Roll Guy" at the restaurant we went to.....each time your roll plate was empty, there he was putting his tongs into the basket and putting another roll on your plate. BUT HA! I learned from the last place like this that we went to....leave a little uneaten roll on your plate and then he doesn't bother you! Course that was after 3 rolls were consumed!

Brenda: You can do it. Try what I do...just make it one hour at a time. Have as many legal snacks as you want just keep eating. Keep busy if you can. That helps too. I bet if you can make it through today you will find it gets easier.

Lisa: Oh buying baby stuff is such fun! What an exciting time in your life. I am tired myself today....didn't sleep worth last night.

Well, back in action for me today. Decided that I will probably not be at goal by my 1 year Atkins anniversary on 09-14 but I want to at least be 5 pounds away from it. So I have to kick now.

Had a really bad asthma attack on Saturday night so I couldn't even bear to walk on Sunday. My lungs felt like I had been smokin all night
Going to make an appt with an allergist I guess. My doctor has been buggin me about it for ages. I figure what are they going to tell me? I'm already allergic to everything what else is there

Anyway.....will try and get some exercise in tonight. DH is at a meeting so the evening is all mine!

Lisa: Sounds like you've learned the art of relaxing Glad you're getting excited about the baby. Hard buying stuff for the baby when you don't know if it's a boy or girl

Leenie: *shakes hand* deal. I've got a GS campout this week...but I'll do my best to be OP through it. Oh not going to make it through the weekend though. My in-laws (mother and 2 sister) are coming over for a drink-fest Bacardi O's are NOT carb reduced!!! And neither will the food be. I'll do my best to make it til then. lol

Jane: Never heard of "roll guys".....but sounds dangerous Glad you learned the trick of keeping him away. lol Sorry to hear about the attack. Maybe the allergist can give you something so that you aren't allergic to everything?

Karen: Sounds like you had a burst of energy!! Hope you have a great day!!

Well, as I was reading these I was eating some yogurt. NOT LC stuff either Got to the deal with Leenie and I put it down. Only ate about 1/4 of it before I realised I wasn't exactly OP with that. No matter if I "need" it to prevent an infection. I'll wait now to see if one starts to appear before eating it Guess the cranberry juice is out also. Trying to figure out what to have for supper. Guess I could pull some chicken out of the freezer and grill them. Sure wish I could find a good tasting BBQ sauce!!! That's one thing I miss!!! Bought some LC stuff and it wasn't that good. *sigh* it'll go on my "wish" list of things I "wish" I could eat. lol

Here I come - staggering in!

Brenda - Have you tried Kraft's LC barbeque sauce? It's pretty good!

Lisa - I love lolling about! Good for you!

Leenie - You weren't the only one on a pig fest! but more on that later....Glad you had a great birthday!

Jane - your description of the roll guy was great!

Karen - You are my exercise idol!

Ok, this was my worst weekend EVER!!! Friday was the anniversary celebration with DH. We went to Red Lobster and I had every intention of being good, but then had one of those biscuits anyway. The entree was crab legs and a lobster tail THEN he ordered a piece of key lime pie. I decided to have one little taste and it was all over! I ate at least a quarter of it.

It gets worse.

Saturday, DH and I packed up the doggies and went on a beach trek. We started at the north end of our coast and just meandered our way down the coastline for the day (Cannon beach to Depoe bay for those in the area). It was great but the eating was bad bad bad! There was a big slice of thin crust pizza for lunch and a dinner consisting of clam strips, clam chowder, and a piece of bread. Then a bag of cornuts on the way home

But I'm over it now. Back on plan and doing some major exercise pennance now. Still, it was a fun weekend and surprisingly, the only off plan thing that I ate that tasted really good was the pie. I was horribly disappointed in the chowder (I like my LC version way better)!

StarPrincess: oh you naughty girl you! But that's ok.....you are so good at getting back on the wagon. And at this point in your journey I would think having a blowout food fest isn't that horrible. I mean if we can't do it once in a while then what fun is it?

Glad you had a nice anniversary.

Brenda: Oh I wish they could give me something but at least the Zyrtec keeps them somewhat at bay. I am so used to it now after all these years that I don't even really think about them. Just once in a while I get a really bad attack from something or other. Thank goodness it doesn't happen too often.
OH! have you tried Thin Ice yet? It is low carb. And if you like the Bacardi's then maybe you would like these. One gram per bottle! That way you will be able to keep up with the "Jones"

Star: Like Jane said, as close as you are to your goal you should be able to let loose once in a while!!

Jane: Sorry there's nothing out there to help keep it away!! Not sure if I've tried Thin Ice or not. I've tried a LOT of stuff lately---and that's pretty bad cuz I never used to drink!!! And of course when I started and finally found something I liked..I went LC and of course it's NOT

Jane and Brenda - you're both right. I'm not worried about my weekend. My weight is stable and I'm right back OP, where I need to be. No big deal - I just felt I needed to fess up

I love Baja Bob's desert lime margarita mix! Mmmmmmmmmm!

Mike's hard lemonade light is also good - I think it's 2 grams per bottle.

I'm just sticking with the hard stuff

For my birthday the other day I treated myself to a nice Bourbon neat.....yum. Thank goodness I don't do that too often! My DH likes to remind me that the last time I did that I ended up in bed with nothing on but my pumps!

Ever wonder what your panties are doing in the middle of your driveway? Or why DH is wearing your bra? Or why you have the phone number for someone called Ferdinand?

THEN you've had a good night!
