Hi Natalie!!! Welcome to our wonderful board. I can't stress enough to READ THE BOOK! Investing in a copy of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution is sooo totally worth while. I definitly say do that before you take, or don't take, a single bite! We also have a great FAQ thread stickied at the top of the board that offers some awesome insight.

The only other thing I can really say is to take your time! Every little change counts, you don't have to do it perfect

Hi and Welcome !!!

Ditto's to what Randi said. Read read read !! when you feel your ready then start. Ask ask ask !!! ask as many questions as you can. Its the only way to learn. But starting out on the FAQ's thread is a big help.

Lastly ENJOY!!!!!!

Natalie: I have to ditto what they've said. I also had about 40 pounds to lose. And the only scary part is NOT losing weight. I started Atkins figuring on giving it 2 weeks (that's what it said "give us 2 weeks and even YOU can lose weight") and when that didn't work I'd resign myself to being fat. Guess what? I've lost weight and I'm STILL plugging away at it. Just remember---this is a WOE for life. Not a quick fix. It's re-learning how to eat healthy. I've been on this for a while and I'm STILL screwing up. Just remember--it's ok to screw up as long as you jump right back on!!!
WELCOME
