Leenie: Hope you had a great weekend--and don't worry about what the scale said--you'll be losing that in no time.

Well, my indulgence time is over. I gained 2 pounds (Um, hopefully part of that is the Skip and Go Nakeds I drank last night :O ) . It's back on induction for me and DH. I'm actually glad of it. Being indulgent makes me feel guilty! Well, the S & GN were GOOD, but the feeling AFTER drinking them wasn't I'm not much of a drinker so those went to my head. I'm running behind so can't go on and on right now. If DH isn't home when I get home I'll try and pop back in after work. otherwise I'll be outside leveling the dirt. Gotta get ONE more load and we're DONE. WOOHOO!!!!
Hope you all had a great weekend!!

Well, I've been off track needless to say. So, I"m back and I've got to get myself into gear. I have continued to seriously slack off on my exercise. I think it is because when I jump back in I REALLY jump back in. So, my goal this week is to limit myself to 3 days of exercise and not try to jump back in at 7 days right away, but work myself up to it. I will take baby steps to not burn myself out on the exercise habit!

Eating has got to get better. The last two weekends have been horrendous!

Nice to see you all again, I've been "away".

Good Morning Everyone!

Leenie: Hope you have a great day!

Breanda: I know that you will be glad when all that dirt is finally finished! Good luck to you and DH going back on induction. My DH is also back on induction as of today. He hasn't been really bad...just slip ups here and there that seem to have him at a stall. Hope you have a great day, and you get your energy back soon!

Lori: Been wondering where you have been! Good luck to you also getting back OP.

Well, it's been a very eventful weekend here! What started out as a lazy weekend in the planning turned out to be not lazy at all! They put my DH's brother in the hospital on Friday night! So we were at the hospital Sat and Sun. Also, we took my grandmother out Sat night. She will be 80 on Thursday. So me and DH and my brother and his family all got together and took her out. Needless to say I have had NO rest this weekend. I feel pretty good this morning though. Hope everyone has a great day, and I will check back in later!

Morning everyone......

Only in work till noon today. Getting my stitches out!!!! YEAH!!!!!! Now I can get to work concealing this damn scar

I had a not so happy moment this weekend over clothing sizes. I saw a beautiful blouse in my machine embroidery magazine that I am dying to make. It is white linen with white embroidery on it and some inset lace. Well to make a long story short....I went to buy the pattern. You get multi-sizes in the patterns these days so I bought the one that is 12-14-16 cause I am now a 12. Since I know that pattern sizes are weird I decide to make a muslin mock up of the blouse to be sure I make it the right size. I started making it the biggest size which would be a 16. IT BARELY FITS!!!!!!!!! What is up with that? Now, I know I am not a 16 but give me a break!

Why is the number so important to us? Why, why, why?

Leenie:

Brenda: I know how you feel....I had a bit too much myself yesterday and am not quite feeling up to snuff as they say. We play we pay! Are you putting in a new lawn?

LoriAS: Good to see you. I need to get my exercise in this week also. I usually only plan on 3 days becuase I know I can do that....if I do more than good for me.

Mrs H: Hope your DH brother is going to be ok. You better get to bed early tonight lady

Back to work...........

Good Morning Leenie

Brenda, someone at work on Friday was claiming that when one does lots of physical labor it is very hard to control her appetite. She has been doing some remodeling and said that from the time she gets home until the time she goes to bed she works nonstop. That has been going on since end of May. She said with all these activities you think I have lost weight, but she said that she has gained 6 pounds. Now I wonder could extreme amount of activities cause one to gain, because increase activity would increase appetites and we end up eating more .

Lori, I read somewhere that when you don’t exercise for a few weeks and want to get back to it, your body responds better if you ease to it. So I think your plan of 3 days this week and working yourself up to 7 days in the next couple of week is a great plan.

Lisa, I am so glad you feel much better today. Hopefully your tiredness days of pregnancy are behind you.

Jane, I must of missed your post that you had stitches. I am so glad that you are okay now. And I completely agree with you regarding sizes. I think each designer goes by their own numbers. I was looking for couple of dresses this weekend and was so very confused. Size 12 of one designer was fitting me tight, cutting my circulations, LOL; size 12 of another designer, however, was too large. I could never pick the right size on the first try, LOL. Don’t worry about the size. I am sure once you made that shirt and put it on, you are going to look great. Why does it matter if that particular designer says that your measurement right now according to them is a size 16 and another one says it is size 12?

Well my theory was wrong, LOL. According to my weight loss chart I wasn’t supposed to lose any weight this week, LOL, and everything was on the schedule, LOL. But just to throw my prediction out of the window and make me guess, my body decided in the weekend to lose 0.8 pounds and arrive at 140 fix. I am so close to my half way point, another 0.6 pound and I am there. It is so exciting. Hopefully I will get there next week.

Have a great Monday everyone.

Good morning, darlings!

Well, I made it back from Wyoming in one piece and a few pounds heavier. I was NOT prepared for the eating **** I was going to encounter. There weren't many low carb options available in the first place and then MIL kept dragging us to places that had NO low carb options. So I ate like garbage for Thursday and Friday. On Satuday I finally asked to be taken to a grocery store so I could buy myself some veggies (can you believe these people don't eat veggies???) My eating schedule was all off and in general, it was a mess. So now I'm bloated and feeling like I swallowed a brick. Blech!

The rest of the trip was pretty fun, though. On Friday we hit a bunch of tourist spots (not my thing at all) and on Saturday we got to go fishing, to a fair, out to dinner for DH's birthday (yes, I ate 4 bites of chocolate cake ), and then to a rodeo. I'm very glad to be home!

So, I'm going back to induction for a while. I just feel like I've lost my focus and I think the biggest part of it is that I haven't been logging my food at all. So, I'm resurrecting the food log and I'm hoping I won't be the only one logging in there.

I've got a bunch of catching up to do so I'll be back later!

Welcome home Star. Glad you had a nice trip. Don't worry...you will get right back on track I know.

Leenie: Are you the 7th too??????

Rachel: I know it will look awesome but still

I just ordered the lace from a company in TN. Can't wait till it gets here. They said I should have it by the end of the week. I guess I better get the fabric cut and get ready! I need to pick an embroidery design. I downloaded some off the net last week and will have to test them out to see if they will look ok on the shirt.

Good morning everyone!

Sounds like we could all use a little shot of motivation. I could have kicked the scale this morning! Grrr... My own doing though. I've been drinking more alcohol than I should lately, which tends to lead to bad eating. For some reason I get munchy when I drink, and then I don't care what I inhale.

So, I'm going back to induction this week too. And, I really need to get some exercise in. We're putting our house up for sale and we need to do some painting, cleaning, yard stuff, etc., so I don't think I'll make it to the gym this week. The house will be my exercise. God I hope it sells!

Hope everyone has a great on-program, on-exercise week!

I've managed to stay on plan today so far. Not really hungry due to the alcohol consumption. Water intake is good. Supper is going to probably be chicken. But I've got to head out and start getting the dirt straightened out. One more load is supposed to be delivered and then the sloping is done. I can't wait!!
