Brenda - they're called dauchounds. I'm partial to chihuahuas, but that's cause I have two

Star--yup, that'd be the names. Not sure if I could talk DH into a chihauha. aren't they kind of snippy? Are they good with kids??

Leenie--hope all is well in your world

Jane--

Well, not sure what's wrong w/DH's truck, but it cost me $32 for them to tell me it's running ok. Jeez. I've dropped my cell phone TWICE today and it's ticking me off. Add to that my ankle is starting to really give me fits so I imagine one of these days I should break down and go to the doc and find out what the lump is. Looks like I'm off the exercise circuit for a while until it's aching less.
On the plus side---here's a picture of the little scamp I had to give away

OMG, Brenda, I couldn't have done it! Look at him! With Chihuahuas, it's all about how they're raised. My little guys are great. They were raised with kids and other dogs around so their well adjusted and we don't let them get away with crap so they're not snippy either. I do happen to think that they have more personality than any other dog, but I'm a little biased there.

Leenie - SMOOCHIES!!!!

I almost cried when I had to leave her there. But she looks like she just had a litter recently so I'm HOPING that her owners claim her. Guess who'll be keeping in contact w/the vet Just not sure how I'd talk DH into keeping her. He wants a different dog. not that one. But she's SOOO cute!!! *sigh* I've got to get over it.

Karen: Hope you had fun at your computer/play date! I also hope you're able to get some sleep soon!

Leenie: Hey, Sweetie!

Brenda: You are a very strong woman!! How could you give something away that is so incredibly cute?!?

Jane: I think my secret is that it's a few weeks after TOM. I always seem to have great losses for two weeks after. So, that's my time to really make some progress!

Well, I think I missed posting a picture of my dog awhile back when you guys all posted pictures of your pooches. So, I thought I'd add some more cuteness to the board today. Here's Maggie.

Well, there's certainly been a marked increase in the cute-ness factor around here. Look at that face! She's adorable!

What a quiet day today! It is 7PM and only 3 pages???

Brenda and Jina - WHAT Cute POOCHES! How could you let that darling dog go Brenda? You are stronger than I am!

Well, the play date went well unti the very end wen my dd threw a rock and hit tyler's friend in the head! Talk about not only embarassing, but I was very disappointed in her too! A few months ago she was caught throwing rocks at school and got in trouble with her teacher. I was sent a note and she had to fill a page of binder paper with I will not throw rocks (That is quite a feat for a Kindergartener, but she did it!) and I thought we had gotten over it.. apparently not!

But I did fix the computer! That was the good thing!
