Shimma: Do we need to ask what type of ring?? And what will the answer be??

Mrs. H: I heard there are "experts" that say it takes 2 weeks to adjust to the time changes. All I know is this morning was the first time in AGES I woke up to the alarm!!

Star: Glad things went well (I haven't read the details yet) and don't worry about what you ate that day. It'll slide right off!!

bzy: and welcome. Congrats on staying on track while at the party. Doubt I'd have that type of restraint!

Leenie: I'm not looking forward to Easter after all. I just KNOW I'm gonna flop. UGH!

Raven: Congrats! Chili's has something decent eh? I'll have to remember that

Jane: I don't do well with late nights either. Hope you manage to stay awake!!

Well, I stayed on program so far (well, like i said no counting the yogurt). If I can make it through these next couple days it should be ok. And the yogurt makes it seem like I'm cheating. And there's 4 more left. Then strict induction. I don't know why my body's being such a pain in not letting go of more fat! GRRRRR.

Hi All!

What a crazy weekend!

Between Birthday Parties, A baby Shower and everything Else I need to get done during the weekend, I didnt have any time to check in! Thank goodness next week is spring break! I need the break!

LORI - CONGRATS! I just read all the threads! You are in my thoughts and prayers! I had a M/C before my first so I know how frustrating it can be!

to everyone else! I am so far behind!

Shimma - Ohh! You will have to keep us posted!

As for me, I am on track with my running! I was actually able to run for 3 full minutes today at a 12 minute Mile pace! WOO HOO! Tomorrow I get my body fat tested.. havent had that done since November.. so I am anxious to see how I do!

Eating has been ok, but I am not eating enough is the problem. I am just not hungry.. TOM is due next week so that happens to me some months!

anyway.. I have to go bake now. Yes it is a full fat, full sugar Torta that my grandmother used to make. I am trying it out for the first time today and if it turns out.. Ill be making another for easter....
And I wont be taste testing.. DH and the kids will be! My cousins are coming for Easter this year and I want to try to duplicate a recipe from our childhood! Once I get the hang of making it, I am going to find a Way to make it LOW carb!

Thanks for the welcomes, ladies. I'm already feeling at home!

Star- didn't mean to sneak in on you....lol
MrsH, Leenie, LoriAS, and Brenda, thanks for the welcome, too and boy it wasn't easy passing up the ice cream....my "friends" were just rubbing it in my face.
One of my best friends was telling everyone how she was on the South Beach diet.....not. I'm glad I was sticking to my guns!

Have a great day all!

ok first, I have to tell you guys about a "choice" I made this afternoon.

When I am over-tired for some reason I want to eat a meatball sub
There is a Subway around the corner from my office and I was thinking....how bad could a 6 inch sub with like 3 meatballs in it be. I have the nutrition fact sheet from there and was shocked to see it was 47 grams!!!!! I then looked up just the meatballs and they were only 8 grams. SO.............I got the meatballs with a slice of provalone in the Atkins wrap! TADA! I am so proud. It was a bad decision made good. Now don't get me wrong, it wasn't the best meatball sandwich in the world but it satisfied the beast within.

KarenW: Yum, Torta. love it, love it. Let us know how it comes out.

lady_adnerb: Congrats for staying OP. Try the Dannon low carb yogurt. It is pretty good.

Shimma: What a pain. When I got married I had to get a new license and I needed a social security card to get it.....SO I had to wait for that card to come in before I could get the license. Geez.

Mrs H: Ah, lazy days....I would love to have one of those myself.

StarPrincess: So glad you are back. Don't fret about the burger. After all you were under the influence of narcotics at the time. I think it says right on the label that you shouldn't make any decisions while taking this medication.

bzyathome: Welcome to the group. Congrats on surviving the ice cream party! 4 oz. of wine!!!! That's just a sip for cryin out loud! That isn't even half a glass. If you put ice in it it still isn't half a glass.....not that I would know

Leenie: We are having another couple over for Easter dinner. We are making rack of lamb. I can't stand that so hubby is going to make me a filet mignon If I can resist his Delmonico potatoes I can do anything!

RavenL33: I have never heard of IKEA. I checked the web site it looks cool. We have Chili's here....do you really call it Oscar Meyer over there?

Trazzie: What kind of car did you get? I hope all goes well with the dress.

LoriAS: How far along? I hope everything is ok this time. Would you like a girl this time?

Phew! Hope I didn't forget anyone. Have a great night all. I have to head for my stupid AFTER WORK meeting!

Evening Everyone,
I don't know if anyone will actually get to read this since it's past bedtime for many, however I wanted to share how my day went.
All went well picking up the new car (2004 Saturn Vue) .. Ive always bought used cars and I can say nothing beats that new car smell.. I was even afraid to drive it!
The trip to Milwaukee stunk.. all I could think about was how horrible I would look in this dress. Welp when we got there I was the first to put it on. I had my girdle on (think it left a bruise) so it would at least hold in a couple of my rolls. I actually looked really good in it.. I surprised myself! I could see my curves slowly returning.. I have a waist! And I'm not a bragger but my arse looked GREAT! It really did wonders for my backside.. good thing too since that is what most people will be looking at during the ceremony. I still have alot of lumps and bumps to work out, and I had her take it out on the hips a bit so it wouldnt be so clingy to my saggy tummy. But it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. So overall I had a very busy, stressful and pleasurable day
