I agree with Leenie -- if your food intake is working for you right now, I wouldn't change it. If you check out the following link --
http://www.countcarbs.com/tools/index.htm -- you'll see that as you lose weight your basal metabolic needs (calories needed just to keep your body running) do decrease. What I've found is that it all evens out for me, however, because of the "oomph" factor. Lower weight generally translates into more energy. More energy translates into more calories needed to maintain that energy. I go through periods of total "oomphlessness" when I will bribe my daughter just to go upstairs to fetch something. Other than exercise, the only things that seem to help are taking my vitamins daily and trying to get enough sleep.
On a personal note, I am eating a few less calories now that I've increased carbs. I'm using light mayo instead of regular and bulking up on veggies instead of jerky.
