Yay, made it through a fun filled, action packed weekend with no big problems! Managed to stay on plan even though we ate out 3 times and spent most of Saturday at a college football game! Today was my “official “ weigh day, ( even though I check most everyday). Down 3 for the week, but darn it, no inches off my big ol belly this week!

It was awesome to see my DS marching his little heart out with the Cornhusker Marching Band on Saturday . Thankfully the band is awesome, since the Husker football team is having issues! My son is so busy he doesn’t get Home much. Missed him bunches! When he left for college it was hard on me. I’m pretty sure I gained 10 pounds the first month he was gone. Thankfully it’s gone now!!

Tomorrow is DH Birthday and thankfully he requested Steak for his special meal. He’s not a big dessert eater so I’m just going to make a tiny cake for him and a few friends to enjoy.

Hope everyone has a great day and even better week. Keep counting those carbs.

The pie was at a restaurant, so I can't go back for more. I was fine afterwards, took a small piece, only ate filling and didn't eat it all. I was good all weekend and only at the right choices. We were at Six Flags and I had the (tiny) Chicken Caesar salad, without croutons, twice.

How did your weekend go besides busy?

Default Anyone still in this thread?

I'm seeking a struggler like myself.. 47 yo back to my highest weight again 241 lb( highest I've seen on my home scale EVER). I am sad to say I'm a nurse who knows better but has struggled with weight my whole life and yo yo dieted / binged since teens. And have the genes to kill me - literally. So no more excuses, or listening to lies of "modern medicine" . I have just returned to LCHF ( lost over 50 lbs in my early 30s on Atkins- so I know I have to avoid unhealthy carbs FOREVER... anyway I'm here for you if you need the support. And I'm a bit discouraged after 9 days only down 4-5 lbs( thanks peri menopause). But after Sugar withdrawal passing going to stick with it. Hugs if you're here- kelly

Kinda sad that no one is in this forum anymore. I wanted to ask about sugar cravings.
How are other keto/low carb people handling sugar cravings. My sweet tooth is long term. My whole life really.
I lost almost 40 pounds a couple of years ago. It stayed off until Covid19 and I have gained back about 8 pounds. I want to lose that and more, since I am still overweight and my doctor recommended I get my weight down further to deal with some other health issues.
I have been doing intermittent fasting, with lower carb, but over time I got a little free with "treats" in the last few months, with being more isolated with Covid19.
I am doing well, down 4 pounds but really having trouble with the sugar cravings. any suggestions welcome, but not feeling to optimistic with the lack of action in this forum
