I did great on about 70g of carbs. I think that it is about thresholds not lower=better. 35g isn't 2x better then 70g for my weight loss, and 140g would ruin my diet since my appetite would be back. Find the biggest number that still works for you, and don't obsess over what the source of carbs is, if you can eat fries or sweets without going over your allowed carbs, the diet will still work just the same.

Also it is best to find few diets that work for you, that way when you get bored with that, you can switch it to another diet. I personally have no low carb flue so I can switch diets without any problems.

I'm losing about 1.5 lbs per week and have done that for about 4 months.
If I would eat unlimited amount of fruit I would easily eat over 300g of carbs per day from fruit alone.

Add me to this lineup. Been eating at anywhere between 40-70g of carbs for a month now, and have lost 10 lbs. Not a flashy loss, but I also feel so so so much better, and it was 10 lbs I have been totally unable to lose for the past two years. It's also a WOE that to me seems far more sustainable for me.

I'm using MFP to track calories and carb/fat/protein counts, and find that eating this way is allowing me to eat at a calorie level that I never would have been able to when I was subsisting on carbs of all types. (I'm trying to keep it to around 1,700 cal/day at 202 lbs, though if I'm lower, yay!)

Hope to hear from others doing the same.

I generally try to stay below 60g/day. I don't panic if I go a little over, but focus on doing better the next day. For the most part, I worry more about my ingredients, filling my plate with nonstarchy veggies, cheese, and a protein source of either fish, poultry, eggs, or pork. I avoid fruit because it's too easy to go overboard on it for me.
