Thanks everybody! Useful advice. I've found a combo of limiting calories and limiting carbs (with an eye on GI numbers) is what is being most effective. Thanks again! Off to the gym!

I am also on a low carb diet and have found it to be the most effective when losing weight. On a typical day I eat two scrambled eggs for breakfast, for lunch I will eat tuna or maybe a salad with Romaine, Mushrooms, and Tomatoes, and for dinner I will eat a chicken breast with some type of green veggie like brocolli or turnips. Also to get the necessary fats You can snack on almonds. Low carb dieting is hard because all of our favs are loaded with carbs whether it be sweets or breads and pastas so it is hard to stay on track but you just have to realize it is mental and a lifestyle change.
