We actually have a big weekend planned. DH won tickets to our local universtiy football game. I don't think I've ever been to college or pro football - just high school. I'm not much of a sports person, but it'll be something new and different. Then on Sunday we have our last lake party of the summer. I think the weather is supposed to be nice so lots of swimming and eating. I'll bring the meat (pork shoulder with a hot (LC) sauce and some kind of LC salad and then not eat everyone else's stuff. It's hard to eat LC at a lake party! Lots of sugar in most everything including other people's BBQ. Then on Monday we'll recover.
Tuesday DH and I are both starting induction again and we'll use the keystix to make sure we're doing it right. In the past, I have had trouble getting into ketosis at 20 carbs and have tried to get lower. I'm hoping it works better this time, because I have completely proven to myself that you need some fiber in your diet!!!!
I don't think induction will be that difficult for me - especially if I can eat 20 carbs. I have been on and off plan all summer, but I haven't gotten into the habit of eating the high carb stuff. Well, maybe one or two peices of garlic bread, but it's been six months since I've eaten a baked potato or fries. And I've never been a "sweets" person. So I'm really really hoping I can do the two weeks of induction and then stay OP for a couple of months and lose lots of weight!
