We actually have a big weekend planned. DH won tickets to our local universtiy football game. I don't think I've ever been to college or pro football - just high school. I'm not much of a sports person, but it'll be something new and different. Then on Sunday we have our last lake party of the summer. I think the weather is supposed to be nice so lots of swimming and eating. I'll bring the meat (pork shoulder with a hot (LC) sauce and some kind of LC salad and then not eat everyone else's stuff. It's hard to eat LC at a lake party! Lots of sugar in most everything including other people's BBQ. Then on Monday we'll recover.

Tuesday DH and I are both starting induction again and we'll use the keystix to make sure we're doing it right. In the past, I have had trouble getting into ketosis at 20 carbs and have tried to get lower. I'm hoping it works better this time, because I have completely proven to myself that you need some fiber in your diet!!!!

I don't think induction will be that difficult for me - especially if I can eat 20 carbs. I have been on and off plan all summer, but I haven't gotten into the habit of eating the high carb stuff. Well, maybe one or two peices of garlic bread, but it's been six months since I've eaten a baked potato or fries. And I've never been a "sweets" person. So I'm really really hoping I can do the two weeks of induction and then stay OP for a couple of months and lose lots of weight!

Hi ladies! I woke up this morning and I am down 9 lbs. since monday which inspired me to jump on the treadmill and walk 2 miles. I feel great right now. Had a good breakfast. Just so happy that I am sticking with this finally. Tonight will be my real test. We are going to a BBQ where there will be food of all kinds and beer. I am going to resist all and I am taking a veggie tray and some of my favorite meat for them to make for me. Wish me luck. I will try and check in as much as I can, but I dont have a internet connection at home so I will have to use my brothers when I can. BUT I am here kicking butt. Hope everyone is successful today.

Oh hey Lynn, I too tried the Herbalife cause my grandmother was actually a salesperson for this. It was horribly. You have to take so many pills in a day and its not fun. The shakes werent half bad, but only kept me full for about 30 minutes afterwards. So I feel bad for the people that spend all that money. I cant imagine what it costs now days.

Default Camping today

Hi Ladies. We're rv camping this weekend. Me DS and DD. Hubs comes out durinmg the day. Its only 30 min from home. He has trouble sleeping unless he's at home. Went to a pig roast today and I'm so proud. I had veggies and dip, chicken and a little pork. Yay me! Well I'm about to hit the hay. Have a great night.
